Cool stuff. Montana is one of the most peaceful and relaxing places I've ever been.

Not entirely sure how they'll make that into the setting for a FPS exactly, but could be good.

They might need to set it around a town or something. Otherwise you'd see other people about one person every hour, given the population density of Montana.

@Peek-a-boo Red Dead has been delayed to 2018 so unlikely.

@Peek-a-boo I'm not surprised, Most Switch owners have Breath of the Wild and 8 deluxe so not surprising.

@Octane It's Ubisoft. That trailer was probably pre-rendered on some cluster array. The final game will look like Ocarina.

@Peek-a-boo Great back-story on Rime. I knew it had been through a nightmare process and I forgot the game was ever even going to exist ever since the WiiU's first year. And don't forget, it was also supposed to be a WiiU game too! Yet another path of trouble it followed.

@IceClimbers Haha. Delays this obvious only bring me joy. Ah, May: delay country. Who wants to bet that becomes November a full year later than it was originally slated for?

Far Cry 5 looks real dumb.

I'm not sure whether to get RiME at release or wait for the Switch version. I think I'm waiting either way simply because I have so many games I need to finish on PS4.

How can it look dumb when you've seen nothing more than a few landscape shots?

Anyone playing Injustice 2? I want to get it but I know a GOTY edition is coming and I don't have any buddies that like MK style games..too slow. But Kara Zor-El....what to do...what to do....

Alright, no problem. I know some folks are making fun of this, but I rather see a delay than another ME: Andromeda. Besides, my backlog is big enough that I should last the entire year without buying anything else.

That's a good view to have, just don't use Andromeda as a reference because that was delayed to the next year and still released in a mess haha

@Operative2-0 Nah, still valid. Andromeda released too early, so if RDR2 needs a little more time for polishing, go ahead.

@Dezzy Because the tone of those landscape shots was "oooh, sPoOkY mUrDeR." That kind of garbage gives me no desire to play the Montana Cannibal Experience after how dull 3 and 4 were.

The tone was "Get any old trailers out to keep people busy".

I think "spooky" is giving the trailer too much credit. To me it just looks like "okay so what do you do in far cry? Kill people. Okay so let's show some dead people in rural montana landscapes."

@Operative2-0 Pretty much. I was just making fun of the music cues at the end.

@Ryu_Niiyama I have never particularly enjoyed the NetherRealms games. They all feel really slow and janky to play; the animations are especially awful compared to the likes of Guilty Gear Xrd and Street Fighter V.

I will say that Injustice 2 does look like a vast improvement over the original game, and that it does have an element of 'throwaway fun' about it. They need to release a demo though, because I would never buy it blind.

Saying that, Tekken 7 is just around the corner... I would much rather get that to be honest!

NetherRealms' animation makes me feel unwell. Even if Supergirl's kidneys aren't flying around breaking her rib cage, you know they're meant to. And Mortal Kombat itself is just gross. That's something that just does not work in HD, or probably anywhere out of the pixel art times.

It had 5 years and tens of millions of dollars budget.

They just had untalented people working on it!

@Dezzy True. But then again, they also fixed a bunch of glitches, bugs and the faces soon after launch. Had they delayed the game by a few months and shipped it with those patches applied, the backlash would've been a lot less severe.
