Then xboxX/psX5 aren't true 4K native as well. A true 4K is a Gaming Laptop or Gaming Desktop with SLI/CF setup and even that has issues at Native 4K gaming. [...] But you wouldn't know it if you talked to their fanbase gamers. 60fps at Native 4K is the true test of RealLife 4K gaming but even Gaming rigs have issue doing that-so why would one think a xboxX/psxX would do anything close to native 4K gaming but only DLSS.
Figures NintenDoomed fandom trying their best to deny a 4K Switch let alone try to say oh 4K doesn't matter now but it's fine if its on xbox/psx typical NintenDoomed fandom. But that's fine with me if you can't stand opinions and replies then guess this isn't for you. Then whom said it was 4K portable it was you not anyone else-another typical Troll reply deflect.
I'm not trying to stir, I promise. I'm just providing context.
@TheJGG Ya I just went back and read the thing, Man, idk know why you would need 4K on the switch anyway, nintendo is doing there own thing right now, and I don't they give a Goomba about PS5 and Xbox over here, If I was to say if nintendo and PS/Xbox or competing, I would say A big No, bc if they were, they would have bumped there stuff up along time ago, nintendo knows what its Fanbase is.

@Snatcher I don't think botw and splatoon look great on a 65 inch 4k TV. DLSS could remedy that. Its a minor gripe, though. Anyone else have an opinion on how switch looks in larger 4k sets? No wrong answer.
@WoomyNNYes Now that would be the only real reason I Would want the switch in 4K bc on better Tv's you see all the stuff that made to be kind hidden by the bad screen, I mean I don't use a 4K screen for switch gaming and I mainly use a lite anyway so its not a issue for me, but I can see why it would be for some people.

I play docked on my 4K television a lot, and I don't see much of an issue with the games in terms of how they look. Sure, they're not 4K resolution, but they still look pretty decent.

What if you're in a hardware store and find one laying on the floor? Is it okay to walk up to a female clerk and hand it to her while asking want a screw? You're just asking if she'd like the screw you found. No harm done. If she gets offended maybe she's the one with the dirty mind.

@Slowdive you absolutely got the point! the fact that Panic button and other teams managed to port such a diffidult library with a capped Tegra is astounding. As modern vintage gamer states, for many current games you just need an overclock to get to 60 fps. From this point of view we can say the capped Tegra X1 is like the kickstand, as a part of the console that nintendo voluntarily handipcapped and that it's easy to get better.

It depends. I think the main thing that stands out as you jump to higher resolutions is the lack of aliasing. Which is fitting given DLSS was originally designed for anti-aliasing. Also while I can't really talk on 4K gaming I will say that for movies? The only thing that has impressed me on my relatively decent UHD set over my old set has been HDR. Which makes sense because aliasing isn't really a thing in movies.
As an example, the gap between Mad Max Fury Road on UHD BluRay vs a regular BluRay? It's about as impactful as I remember the jump from DVD to BluRay being. But it's pretty much entirely because of the HDR, not the resolution bump. Most of the 4K content I've watched you'd struggle to tell the difference outside of a direct A/B test.
I never bought a PS4 Pro for the very same reason. I have a PS4 already and it works just fine. You people that are so eager to drop more cash on this thing either have more money than you know what to do with or gotta have every version of every system ever.
