@JaxonH when you put your Switch game that run at 30fps in your Switch sucessor, it performance got boosted to 60fps(see easy solution here, no need for Switch remaster for Switch sucessor),just follow the example of Xbox Series X/S with older games on sucessor.

@JaxonH No BC does technically includes those other points of why Wii U ports makes sense. Like you couldn't realistically make a hybrid system with a disc drive that plays Wii U games (too big to have a handheld mode) meanwhile backwards compatibility only with digital games has really bad optics given a huge proportion of Nintendo system owners prioritizes physical games.

Yes! Looks like Inscryption is getting a port. I've been looking forward to trying this.

Since it's Digital Devolver, I'll be holding out for a physical copy from Special Reserve for Inscryption.

That's great news. We knew they used a different voice actress this time, but Jennifer Hale is probably the best possible outcome we could have hoped for. She's best of the best. And the fact much of the dialog is so hard to tell apart from the previous VA is a testament to that fact.

@JaxonH i wonder what prevented Helena Taylor for voicing Bayonetta in Bayonetta 3? and nice despite all the chaos in Bayonetta 3, Platinum Games managed to make the game hit 60fps in both modes(TV Mode and Handheld Mode, that i play).

It seems like a missed opportunity that they couldn’t get Chris Pratt to voice Bayonetta!

If Sony's doing it then 3rd parties will follow like how Capcom announced in September that RE4 Remake is getting a PS4 version. This gives the impression that Switch 3rd party support has the potential to still be strong for longer rather than fizzle out after early 2023.

I mean... given that he's already low-key replaced the Zelda voice actor for Tears of The Kingdom, it just makes sense to consolidate at this stage.
