@Pizzamorg
Most games that involve aiming on Switch use Gyro. Zelda BotW, Splatoon 2, Resident Evil 5, 6, Revelations 1/2, Metro 2033 and Last Light, Assassin's Creed 3, 4 and Rogue, Borderlands 1, 2 and Presquel, Doom, Doom 64 and Doom Eternal, Alien Isolation, Daemon X Machina, Duke Nukem 3D, Quake, Hellblade, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Monster Hunter Rise, Okami HD, Saints Row 3/4, Sniper Elite v2/3/4, Skyrim, Zombie Army Trilogy, etc.
And on Steam, you can map Gyro to virtually any game (provided it allows KB/M input and controller input at the same time- a few games don't). Just press the Home button on your Steam controller, Switch Pro Controller, PS4 controller or PS5 controller while in game to open the controller config menu, select the "gyroscope" symbol beneath the controller diagram, and select "Mouse". From there adjust sensitivity to preference.
Some games, however, don't work mapping to mouse (Halo MCC) because they don't allow controller inputs and KB/M inputs simultaneously, so there's "Mouse Like Joystick" as a controller input alternative. Don't use that. Its garbage. Any time a game has this issue, just use Steam Controller, as all inputs for that are technically KB/M so it avoids the conflict.

"Final Fantasy - Chocobo GP
Is this a PS1 remake? Looks very Mario Kart 64 "inspired"." It seems like a sequel, although I'd never heard of the original. As a big FF fan, I'll probably end up getting it, @SKTTR
"Shadowrun Trilogy
Loved the SNES game. Don't know much about this, but seems like another huge collection of great western RPGs."
Well, I never played either the SNES or Genesis ones but those were arpgs, while this trilogy are trpgs. If I didn't have them on Steam, I'd definitely get these
Ditto with KotoR & I'll obviously be getting it's remake, too. Brought the Castlevanias on Steam & will play soon.
"Bayonetta 3
I really should start Bayonetta 2 soon. I liked the first game, but I thought it was very grindy to unlock/buy everything."
You don't have to buy everything? I certainly didn't, lol. If that is an issue, though, 2 isn't much better in that regard
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, Bayonetta 3 and Splatoon 3 have me hyped for next year. A perfect set of games to follow Metroid Dread and Shin Megami Tensei V.
I love Bayonetta’s new look- the Cereza hairstyle and the revised facial model, and the fact you can control summons is glorious. That giant spider was so rad. The game also looks more graphically impressive than Bayonetta 2. They’ve done a really good job. Can’t wait to play it!
And Splatoon 3 looks to be adding some very interesting mechanics. That little robot ball and stretch armstrong ninja squid ability are too cool. Story mode sounds interesting. Probably will iterate and be even better than Splatoon 2 with Octo expansion.
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak… what is there to say. It’s the Master Rank Ultimate edition we knew was coming. But my goodness does it look good. It’s a completely different setting than the Japanese flavor of the base game. I’m fairly confident this expansion takes place in Rhondine’s home country, where the hunters serve a king and are called “knights”. Rhondine’s older sister is a knight hunter. That new flagship looks boss.
Even Kirby and the Forgotten Lands is hype. You know how long we’ve been waiting to get a proper 3D Kirby? You guys know. I’ve never been the biggest Kirby fan, but Planet Robobot on 3DS was an exceptional Kirby game. That’s the one that made me realize Kirby can actually be really fun if done right. This new 3D entry is exactly what Kirby needed. I like 2D platformers, but Nintendo needs more 3D games. And Kirby is the perfect candidate. It’s coming out relatively soon, too!
We’re absolutely spoiled.
Now - Christmas
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania
Metroid Dread
Fatal Frame
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond / Shining Pearl
Advance Wars
Knights of the Old Republic
Chocobo GP
Mario Party Superstars
Shin Megami Tensei V
2022
Pokémon Legends: Arceus
Triangle Strategy
Kirby and the Forgotten Land
Rune Factory 5
Mario Rabbids: Spark of Hope
Splatoon 3
Zelda Breath of the Wild 2
Bayonetta 3
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak
The majority of these are games I’m insanely hyped for. And even the few that aren’t are still interesting enough to be games I’m buying. Even Mario Superstars looks hype. And I’m not usually into Mario Party. But the boards on this one just look so fun and interesting.
We also just got Cruis’n Blast, WarioWare, Diablo 2, Ni No Kuni 2, Castlevania Collection, DragonBall Z Kakarot, Deltarune ch. 1+2, etc. It feels like overload.
I’m just trying to play more Voice of Cards here. I love the feeling of drowning in Switch games 😁
Yeah with Pokemon Legends Arceus, Triangle Strategy, and Kirby and the Forgotten Land the first half of 2022 is already looking really solid. If they can lock in a June release for Splatoon 3? Ohhhh boy will that be one excellent first half.

Tbh I’m not that excited for either Chocobo GP or Hotwheels Unleashed. I will be keeping an eye on video reviews just in case, but Chocobo GP, to me at least, just makes me want to play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe instead. And Hot Wheels just makes me want to play Cruis’n Blast. It seems so bland and lifeless. The tracks are just… Idk. Barren. The environments boring.
Good gameplay could save it though. And that’s why I’ll be keeping an eye on reviews, because if the gameplay is on point, it could be a lot of fun, especially with a track editor. But it’ll need to really impress in the gameplay department.
That may sound a bit harsh. I don’t think it looks bad by any means, there’s just so many good games that it needs to look better than “good” to stand out. But maybe I’ve misjudged it. I will await video reviews.

This was posted on reddit, and I thought I'd share. It's hard to keep track of everything on deck. This makes it a bit easier.
BRAND NEW Dying Light Switch trailer [footage captured on Nintendo Switch]
Gyro aiming! HD rumble and touch support, with 4 player local wireless too! This game looks way better on Switch than I was expecting. Holy crap. This one's taking Witcher 3 to task. I needed a game like this on Switch.
That image gives me anxiety. I really don’t want to have to work more than I already do to afford most of that.

They haven't announced platforms. I think it's assumption based on the fact every mainline Dragon Quest ever made has released on Nintendo hardware.
That said, it wouldn't surprise me at all if Sony paid them to gatekeep it off Switch, which would align with all the other games they've done it for, and with their supposed "new direction" which sounds to me like they're trying to Final Fantasy the series. Guess we'll find out.
