@Grumblevolcano intereting, @JaxonH i a fan of Pokémon since the first generation( i am 30 year old, i hope Pokémon Legend Arceus is amazing game, but i preparing myself if the game is a disapointment)
Hmm, can't say I've actually seen the film, although I have certainly heard of it .... Not sure how well they'll be able to make it into a game or how many liberties they'll likely take but I'll keep an eye on it!
@Slowdive I'm just worried about the CGI Hitchcock harassing the CGI women in the game ;p
Yeah, it's a good film like most of his films were, I just find it odd they went to the effort of making a 70 year old movie into a game. I've seen gamers who were clueless about the 80's movie characters like Rambo in Mortal Kombat so god knows they would think of this.
@Slowdive to be honest apart from the odd song I don’t really know Van Halen myself and I listen to “rawk” decades before my time. Cock rock isn’t really my thing and I can’t imagine it’s Billie’s either.
@Ralizah Rear Window is probably my favourite too although not me favourite James Stewart film, I don’t even think it’s even in my top 3. He had so many great flicks like Harvey, It's a Wonderful Life, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, The Flight of the Phoenix etc.
Yeah, I do wonder how they plan to do it, @Slowdive.... Still, it'll be interesting to see more on it! If it does well, perhaps theyll go onto Rear Window, The Birds & Rebecca?

Wonder no more: endless runner with micro transactions and a stamina mechanic. That or metroidvania (this is always highly likely for any game newly announced).
Taking things like old Alfred Hitchcock films and adapting them into games? Nice to see we’re finally at a place where the notion of what games are and what they should be has expanded to include such things.
Idk if it’ll be good or not. That comes down to the developers and the execution. But it’s like, ya. I remember when films finally started adapting great books like The Lord of the Rings. I told my ex wife’s father back when I was like 18 yrs old, if they ever decided to turn those books into a movie it would be incredible. Now video games are starting to leverage books and films much more frequently. It’s good to see.
Psalms 22:16 (1,000 yrs before Christ)
They pierced My hands and feet
Isaiah 53:5 (700 yrs before Christ)
He was pierced for our transgressions
Zachariah 12:10 (500 yrs before Christ)
They will look on Me whom they pierced
There's a greater than zero chance they'll license the U2 song of the same name.
I don't think that's inherently a bad idea, but I will say that trailer looked exactly what I expected a trailer of a video game version of Vertigo to look like. Though to be fair, without gameplay, I have no idea how I, nor anyone, would put out a teaser trailer for this.
@JaxonH Hollywood has always looked to books for movies ideas. Jaws, Bond, Lawrence of Arabia, Sherlock Holmes etc beat Lords Of The Rings by decades.
Personally I don’t think a good book/movie/game means it will be good in a different media, there’s been way too many rubbish movie tie ins to trust a game based on movie will be good. I remember when one of my favourite books Ask The Dusk was turned into a movie, it was fine and not bad but it’s far from my favourite movie, of course there are occasions when both the book and movie are great like Fight Club.
I mean the problem with the majority of movie based games is that they're usually made to basically just to capitalize on the movie's presumed relevance as it enters theaters (while also being an ad for the movie merely by existing). So they're usually made to be released around when the movie is, which doesn't often work out well.
@Slowdive I really liked Dark Fate, it was as good as the first two up until Arnie shows up and then a weird tonal shift happens and you have to listen to to jokes about decorating.
Even if the developers are given the time and resources for an adaptation more often or not it still tends to be a dud like the recent Avengers which missed the hype of Endgame and came out poorly. Of courses there’s exceptions but it very much feels the norm to not expect much especially something which requires good writing as let’s face it the general standard of writing in game isn’t of high quality.
Finally winding down in Monster Hunter Rise. My save file says 450 hours. That’s pretty incredible given I got 600 in MH3U, an ultimate version with G rank, I got 400 hrs from MH4U, another ultimate version with G rank, 400 from MH Generations, and 400 from MHGU, though I haven’t nearly done everything there is to do, and 400 in MHW + Iceborne.
What makes it most impressive is how streamlined everything is, which makes the game go by faster (but at a higher quality of experience). It’s just so fun to play, that despite having completed every single quest in the game, every scroll found, every creature photographed, I’m still playing just for fun. Was tempted to go for all the awards on the guild card but there’s no way I’m going to get a gold crown for every monster in the game, both for largest and smallest. That’s insane.
Been toying with the idea of going back to MHGU since I’ve barely done half the quests in the game. There’s a lot of monsters I haven’t even fought, like White Fatalis. I’ve also been toying with the idea of going back to Monster Hunter World Iceborne. But it’s so hard letting go of Rise.
Mario Golf needs to hurry up and release so I have something new to play until Monster Hunter Stories 2, Neo TWEWY, Zelda Skyward Sword, Ys IX, Tony Hawk PS 1/2 and Ni No Kuni 2.

I just wonder why there were so many upcoming Switch games for year 2021 got physical but with code in box ?
Are the developers started to get lazy with cartridge release due to cost of cartridge price, left the code in box but still release the PS4 version in disc ?
