Crytek have said the there are no plans for a physical Switch version, but they are planning something else for Switch in a couple of weeks! Whatver that means.
@jump Haha, I was thinking of DLSS improvements for the Pro but, yes...yes you are right. We are getting an Amiibo aren't we. That gives you a Metroid gun or something.
I never drive faster than I can see. Besides, it's all in the reflexes.
@Vortexeo
They're fun for a playthrough or two if you enjoy most FPS games.
Personally I'd take DOOM and/or Wolfenstein to scratch a quick single-player FPS itch, but the Crysis games are very polished and a solid franchise to turn to.
So... I liked Crysis on Switch, but I couldn’t play it because the gyro sucked. It was just... horribly done.
The two key reasons I buy my games on Switch whenever possible is 1) Hybrid advantage- why buy a TV only version when I can get one that does tv, handheld and tabletop, but also 2) Gyro- which is not offered on other consoles (though it is able to be mapped in Steam for most games without issue, so that’s where I buy games that I’m 100% certain will never come to Switch).
Crysis still had the hybrid advantage, and that’s nice, but without proper gyro it doesn’t really do me any good. Because I just don’t want to play it at all without proper Gyro.
Here’s to hoping they do the gyro correctly this time. I’ll definitely be a little more hesitant before buying than I was with the first. I’ll need to hear some feedback first confirming the Gyro is well implemented.

@NeonPizza
I know what you mean. I did the same thing for DBFZ and Samurai Showdown. Knowing full well I wasn’t going to come back to them. Idk. I think it’s just the idea of having a complete game for posterity- I tend to buy season passes and stuff for games so I have everything. Maybe it’s just that mindset of wanting the complete roster.
I wish Ultra SF IV would come to Switch. I like that one a lot- certainly more than V. And it could run easily, too. It had a 3DS version for goodness sakes. I mean, I love my USFII but still, SFIV had such a large roster and much better art style and gameplay. The new one just cheeses everything so average players can feel good.

@JaxonH I love fighting games alot, And I don't really play DBZ Fighter's that much, learn'd my bread and butter, But Its not the kind of game I'm going to be playing all the time, But it was my first 2d fighting game, I got it first on the ps4, and I had to get it on switch, The Ult ver was only 20 bucks, So now I only play it when i'm in the DBZ mood, and it works.

@Slowdive Never got itno SF V bc I don't play on my switch anymore, In fact I have not gotten into any SF game, I have yet to get the collection, any day now LOL, But if STV did come on the switch I would learn how to play it.

Street fighter 4. Super street fighter 4. Super street fighter 4 arcade edition. Super street fighter 4 AE 2012. Ultra street fighter 4 and ultra street fighter 4 omega edition was the main reason I bought a PS3. I spent countless hours online.
Same with ps4 and street fighter 5.
We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.
@JaxonH Did you end up buying Plants vs Zombies Battle for Neighborville? It's gyro implementation is arguably one of the better ones I've seen on Switch, with multiple options in the settings to customize it to your liking.
I've found the overwhelming majority of Switch games using Gyro do it well, and most of those do it very well. At worst, it's usable. But there are those rare games that release where you're like... what the heck? How is this so bad?
Astral Chain, as much as I love that game (which thankfully doesn't really need Gyro much) has downright horrid Gyro. As does Crysis. There may be one or two others I'm forgetting, but ya. I'd estimate 95% of games which release with Gyro, have a well done implementation.
BTW, I was pleasantly surprised by the PvZ Switch release. When EA does bother to bring games, they seem to be pretty good Switch releases. Be it Burnout Paradise, Need For Speed, Unravel two, Plants vs Zombies, etc.

Utilization of the land of the Nintendo Uji Ogura Plant
Nintendo Co., Ltd. (HQ: Minami-ku, Kyoto; Representative Director and President: Shuntaro Furukawa) is pleased to announce that its Nintendo Uji Ogura Plant (Ogura-cho, Uji-city, Kyoto) and the land surrounding the building will be used as a new gallery to showcase the many products Nintendo has launched over its history.
Nintendo has been discussing the possibility of building a gallery, as a way to share Nintendo’s product development history and philosophy with the public. To this end, the Nintendo Uji Ogura Plant will be renovated to accommodate the gallery, a decision reached after taking consideration of The City of Uji’s plan of re-developing the nearby Ogura Station area.
The Nintendo Uji Ogura Plant was built in 1969, and was known as the “Uji Plant.” The name of the facility changed to “Uji Ogura Plant” in 1988, after the construction, extension and renovation of the current Uji Plant (Makishima-cho, Uji-city, Kyoto). The Uji Ogura Plant has been used to manufacture both playing cards and Hanafuda cards, and it also operated as a customer service center for product repairs. Discussion of how to use the Uji Ogura Plant began after these functions were transferred to the current Uji Plant in November 2016.
The facility, tentatively named “Nintendo Gallery”, where Nintendo’s historical products will be showcased, and exhibits and experiences will be available, is expected to be completed within our 2023 Fiscal Year, which ends in March 2024.
Nintendo reveal it E3 2021 plans(they gonna do a 40 minute presentation in june 15th at 9.a.m focused on games releasing in 2021, followed by Treehouse Live).
Interesting, Sony has pretty much confirmed God of War sequel and GT7 are coming to PS4 (both are 2022 games). Makes me wonder if Nintendo will have a next gen Switch (not talking about the rumoured revision but rather Nintendo having an actual next gen Switch in like 2024) by the time Sony and Microsoft finally decide to abandon the PS4 and XB1 respectively.
@Grumblevolcano problaby yes 2023/2024 is when i expect the Switch sucessor is gonna release, Shuntaro Furukawa already confirmed/hinted they are developing the Switch sucessor.
@NeonPizza The irony to your complaints with Hollow Knight is that it actually isn't a PS4 game that got downgraded. Its a Switch game that got ported to other systems much later.
Same with Mega Man 11. The only difference visually is on Switch it's running at 1080p docked with no anti aliasing vs 4k on PS4 Pro. Every other effect is identical.
