That would explain it then. Bring on the digital event!

So I bought a VR headset to play any VR switch games only to realise there is only about 5 games on switch that can be used for a VR headset. There's loads of different headsets on amazon and no game's ( bit strange ). 5000 games and none are VR
@Ninfan Yeah...there's only a few Switch games that are compatible with the Labo VR set. The game that comes with the set is probably the most you're gonna get out of it.
Say NO More Full Gameplay.
I couldn't find the Full gameplay Switch version so i picked the PC version since they are same with console version.
Gameplay was really hilarious funny. 🤣
It was all about saying NO, sarcastic laugh and be yourself.
It rated E10+ for Mild language.
Feels good seeing Monster Hunter Rise still hanging around the top 50 of the Amazon Best Sellers list, at #52, despite being a month after launch.
And Monster Hunter Stories 2 has shot up to #42, with Great Ace Attorney Switch climbing all the way to #8, making it the #1 actual game on the list.
If there was any doubt Nintendo fans love Capcom games, let that be dispelled now.
I kind of feel like Nintendo fans are less... what's the word... exploratory, than gamers on other platforms. Less willing to branch out and try something outside of their comfort zone (which is often just Nintendo games), but, when they do finally warm up to a series or a publisher, they're loyal for life.

with 19.410.000 consoles sold in japan, Switch surpass the Famicom and become the sixth best selling console on japan and know how is Chameleos, and what to expect of him in the 2.0 update of Monster Hunter Rise.
I've never been fussed with Monster Hunster myself, I tried it in the 3DS/Wii days and it didn't click with me. I may pick up Rise in a few months when it's dirt cheap to try it out again.
As much as people suggest Ninty fans aren't open to new games (with the average Mario Party and sports whatever outselling some gems like Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. or Sin & Punishment and even Bayonetta and Metroid don't do the numbers to warrant the hype), Ninty has to take some of the blame for it too. They had under estimated their own fanbase (although improving in recent years) for ages like Xenoblade almost never became a staple with fans having to do the whole Operation Rainfall thing where Xenoblade ended up selling better in the West than the East to carry it on.

Not every Nintendo fans are closed to other games.
Recently, i open with obscure games from either PlayStation or Nintendo machines, something i have never played before but still match with my gaming taste. Even i bought Wii shovelwares for my curiousity.
Currently i have more interest with Yokai Watch 3DS games than my Pokemon games. I have more interest with Ratchet & Clank + Sly Cooper PS3 than 3D Mario games after played them. Suddenly i have interest with Rabbids Wii games after i watched from Youtube. But most of all, i have huge interest with BEMANI games on PS2 / PS1 / Wii / XBOX / XBOX 360.
Even i like Nintendo games by most, but i still have more interest with 3rd party games on Nintendo machines.
@JaxonH I think it's a two way thing, Capcom are one of the 3 big 3rd parties that has taken the Switch seriously for the vast majority of the Switch era. Things were rough regarding the first year where they weren't willing to localize MHXX but from 2018 onwards Capcom's support of the Switch has been very strong. They even released Mega Man 11 the same day as the other platforms which is something was unheard of for most 3rd parties back then.
The other 2 big 3rd parties are Square Enix and Koei Tecmo. I'd put Ubisoft and Bethesda as a kind of middle ground, Ubisoft Switch support started strong but then fizzled out over the past 2 years meanwhile Bethesda's support has been strong but limited (DOOM, Wolfenstein and Skyrim sums up pretty much their whole support).
@Grumblevolcano Bethesda's support is literally just DOOM at this point
Wolfenstein New Colossus and Youngblood both came out on Switch but it's still missing Old Blood and New Order, and Bethesda Game Studios only put out Skyrim and some ports of mobile games
Switch is still missing out on stuff like Fallout, Evil Within, Dishonored and RAGE

@Grumblevolcano I’d argue Warner Bros have been more supportive than some of the ones you have named. Mortal Kombat was same day as other consoles, they have rarely skipped a multiple format game on Switch and done some (rubbish) exclusives like Bakugan.
A lot of Bethesda games either released before Switch had established itself, or are too demanding to run.
It’s not like they released a Fallout New Vegas remaster and skipped Switch, for example. If they were remastering it for current platforms I’m sure they would bring it to Switch. Just as I’m sure New Order would come if it didn’t release back on PS3 and get ported to current systems before Switch was even released.
Bethesda has done just about all that can reasonably be expected.
Ubisoft has done ok. They brought Trials Rising, which is one of my favorite video games of all time, and they made Mario Rabbids which is one of the best strategy games I’ve ever played, they brought Immortals Fenyx Rising and actually managed to make it look and run decent in handheld mode, and they dumped the best classic Assassin’s Creed games onto the system that could actually run. There’s still more they could do- I’d like to see the original 3 one day, for example, but those games are pretty dated by comparison so I’m not too concerned about it, especially considering there’s already four different entries on the platform and I’m never going to finish them anyways. And, there’s been some others but, generally speaking Ubisoft has done well, but it could be better.
Square Enix is the one I’m most disappointed in. They’ve done a great job with mid tier games and JRPG‘s but they have made little to no effort to put their more demanding games or western focused games on the system. Granted, we have leaks saying Life Is Strange is coming- that would be a good start. But they should’ve put Tomb Raider on Switch a long time ago. At least the first two, and given they were able to make the second entry for 360, I’m sure they could manage the 3rd on Switch if they actually wanted to. And while I really don’t care much for FFXV or FFXVI, the remake of 7 could definitely run on Switch (not with full parity specs-wise obviously, but it’s definitely not beyond the realm of Switch-capabilties). As could Kingdom Hearts (which I’m not a huge fan of, but I still like the games and would actually give them another shot if they were on a hybrid system). There’s just so much Square Enix hasn’t done.
They did give us Bravely Default 2, and Octopath Traveler, and Triangle Strategy, and we’re getting Neo: TWEWY and they did put Final Fantasy X/X-2 and XII on the system, which were my #1 most wanted games from them before they were announced. So they have done a lot, but it’s hard to ignore that they’re only putting games on the system that are really easy to run. It’s like they don’t want to actually put forth effort in optimizing a game. If they even catch a whiff of required optimization they scrap the project entirely, or don’t even bother.
Still, considering where Nintendo was as a platform for the last two decades in terms of third-party viability, Switch has achieved far beyond my wildest expectations of support. I knew going in it would take time to persuade third parties that the cost benefit analysis weighs heavily enough in favor of low-risk benefit to a actually trust investing large sums into the platform. But we’ve seen huge forward strides in that respect. And it will only continue to improve over time. We saw a huge boon in 2018-2020. Moving forward, it’ll likely be a more gradual increase. At least until Switch 2, at which point I suspect we’ll see another large jump in support as an entire legion of games suddenly become viable candidates for porting.

I think we're just seeing the near death of big 3rd party exclusives and Nintendo has benefited from that. For that matter so has Sony, with the day 1 releases of formerly Nintendo only 3rd party series like Ace Attorney and TWEWY. And the death of new consoles having a notable enough jump in power to justify making games too powerful for current gen systems (though this might be far more obvious when Switch 2 comes out).
Also, because I will bring this up until it stops being true, a lot of these companies decided to just make less games, so they kinda need more re-releases to have games be released at all and make them more money.
