Solar Crown coming to the Switch is a surprise, but I guess it kind of shouldn't be? Nacon have been supporting the Switch for a few years now, with the WRC games being developed by the team on Solar Crown. But... Test Drive Unlimited games were always a big deal back then, and now a new one is in the works. I just wasn't expecting it to hit the Switch at all. Maybe that's just owing to the fact a lot of racers seem to miss the Switch and this is an open world one that looks to go beyond what the previous games gave us.

@Ninfan If you're playing in worldwide mode, the engine class (which includes mirror mode) is randomly determined. There are user-made tournaments that only use a particular class too, though I'm not sure if they're that populated now. I think most people head straight to worldwide mode.
@Grumblevolcano oh my! Arceus another game of the Capcom Leak turning real, now we just need confirmation of the rumored Resident Evil exclusive temporary of Switch.

It's the same deal for regional as for global:
If the general level of the competitors is low, you get 100 and 150cc races.
If it's high (+ 3000 points), you get mostly 150, but also some 150 mirrored and 200cc.

A.I. The Somnium Files is the game that make me like visual novels. Not that it made me like every game in the genre, but as I always say, anyone can enjoy any genre, you just have to find the right game. For me and visual novels, that was A.I. The Somnium Files. That game was freaking excellent.
So I will be buying Famicom Detective Club. And while I’m not too big of an Ace Attorney fan, I do recall having quite a bit of fun with the series on 3DS at one point. I think I just got distracted by some other game and never got back to it, but ya. I’ll take more Ace Attorney on Switch.
Bulk out the library with games of various genres. I needed more than just A.I. The Somnium Files on my Switch for VNs. I like to have at least 2-3 great games of every genre on my Switch.

The quality bar for vns on Switch drops off sharply after A.I. The Somnium Files as most vns use 2D images for presenting characters and the world they're in. Steins;Gate Elite is a top tier vn, it uses a lot of CG animated scenes at key story points. However, there are no adventure elements in Steins;Gate Elite as there are in A.I. The Somnium Files.

Question for you all; I’m thinking of getting into the Atelier series, which game should I start with? I know Ryza and Ryza 2 are both good but what are your thoughts on the three Mysterious Trilogy games?
Currently playing:
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
Persona 4 Golden
Dragon Quest XI S
F1 23
Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Each trilogy is it's own self contained continuous story. Ryza is probably the best place to begin. It's the best looking, best running entries in the series. The release of Lydie & Suelle on Switch was not well optimized, it chugged framerate wise, so I'm curious as to how well this upcoming release of the Mysterious trilogy will run.

My Day 1 blue neon joy con has been drifting on the y-axis (mostly up). It's gone through little phases of doing it before (almost exclusively in eshop and OS menus, wasn't affecting gameplay) and then just disappeared after playing, but this time it didn't go away, and was getting worse, to the point of affecting gameplay (and making note-making a nightmare in KORG).
One squirt with contact cleaner... and as good as new. Kinda miraculous, I was expecting some kind of incremental improvement, but no, totally clear. Let's see how long it lasts.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
@gcunit
I'm in the same situation almost exactly. It's drifted from time to time, but nothing egregious and sometimes it would even clear up for a few weeks or even months. But now it's back and worse than ever, but I haven't tried anything. Might do the contact cleaner, why not? I have a backup anyway.
Just noticed Monster Hunter Stories 2 is now available for pre-purchase on the eShop! And it has a new trailer I hadn’t seen before.
I’m right in the thick of my Monster Hunter Rise binge, as my save file is about to cross 250 hours. We’ve got the 2.0 update coming next week with like 3 new elder dragons, 2 new apex monsters and unlocked HR cap, and now, the Monster Hunter Stories 2 hype train is leaving the station.
Oh man, oh man what a year. It looks so good too. Capcom putting in work.

@gcunit that happened to me 2 years ago and I never had problems ever since, while I was expecting it to get worse quite quickly. Last month had to the same to the pro controller though...
