Won't be surprised if Rebellion releases Strange Brigade(that four-player co-op mummy game) and Zombie Army 4 Dead War to the Switch next year. Zombie Army 4 might need some reworking to release on the Switch, but Rebellion can pull it off.

@Magician I saw the video myself. Granted, we don't know how much better the PlayStation 4 version runs but if Switch performance is that poor by the time it gets released here I'll probably get it on PS4 instead or since it's apparently also coming to Steam at a later time, I'll wait for that.

Genuinely appaling to me that it's apparently this bad considering how well done their Switch port of Catherine Full Body and their PC port of P4G were.

Honestly anytime I see an article just talking in full detail about how a game is skipping Switch on this site they just sound so salty and bitter about it lmao. Like big deal it's only on PlayStation, Xbox and PC, like most other AAA multiplats to begin with.

Like 90% of their Persona """"""news"""""" coverage was just rumors about a port they were never promised and now they're bickering about Mass Effect for the second time when they already made another article about it eariler in the year.

@TheFrenchiestFry I agree with you it really sucks that your reporting none nintendo games thats not coming to the switch but I see why they do it, it kinda counts as nintendo news its just that nintendo is on the short end of the stick.

It's not like Push Square ever reported on stuff like "Joker from the game on our console just got announced for Smash Bros on the console NintendoLife covers". Like ""news""" of that calibur just comes off as extremely petty like "mehhhh PS4 and Xbox One got this game but not US????"

@TheFrenchiestFry Well not really much to talk about in the Nintendo space. Focus on rumour articles and associated "not coming to Switch" articles usually occurs more common during Nintendo info droughts.

That is always a weird concept to me. Because it ignores everything that has been announced but isn’t out yet.

I do hope the My Time at Sandrock gets to at least the 300k mark for their kickstarter.

I think this year alone there were like 3 or 4 articles in quick succession about games not coming to Switch like Prince of Persia, Crash 4 and the two on Mass Effect, and even before then they were milking the absolute hell out of Persona 5 rumor talk which had no substance or basis in anything outside Twitter talk lmao

Anyone got a solution to the DLC borderlands 2 switch crashing issues? The game isn't playable.

@TheFrenchiestFry I know, it's so lame. I find it pretty unique to this site to focus on what Switch isn't getting. I get Nintendo news is slow right now, but other sites don't do this. I use NintendoEverything for news now. Yes, it's slow in the Nintendo world now, but they're putting up articles about patches games are getting, a new season in Diablo, some Indie games that are coming (and one that launched today even), they have new footage of an Indie game up that was just released. Did you know Xenoblade Chronicles 2 passed 2 million copies sold recently? Not a mention on this site. They may not be big games or news, but it's better than these petty articles stewing over some rumour that ending up not being true. I have a feeling the clicks are whats driving the articles though. More people will click on a "we're not getting this" article to complain than the amount that would check out something about an Indie game or sales/patch news.

@Shadowthrone Also funnily enough all of these articles are generally written by the same exact person so it's kind of telling that clearly he's either salty himself or just wants as much traffic and comments as possible to give the site more revenue.

Push Square and Pure Xbox have considerably classier staff by comparison and don't call out whenever specific games miss their platform. The only time that was done was when Push Square broke the news on the Bethesda Microsoft buyout, and that actually made sense considering they brought up Bethesda's history on PlayStation and the fact that Microsoft were still going to respect the timed exclusivity agreement for Deathloop and GhostWire on PS5

They didn't even report on when Joker from the PlayStation 4-exclusive Persona 5 was joining Smash, but NLife loves milking the hell out of Persona 5-related articles that don't even cover legitimate news.

The worst thing these articles do is bring out the saltiness and stubborness from people on the site who only own Switches, who act like they were robbed of games they were never guaranteed.

@Snatcher yes Push Square and Pure Xbox belong to the same media group that made Nintendo Life, so in short the use the same format here, Push Square focused in PlayStation and Pure Xbox focused in Xbox, and you can use your User here to also acess Pure Xbox and Push Square, i use my User to acess both sites and share the news with my followers in Twitter.

It's also pretty pointless considering that (per usual) the Switch version was already leaked as in development like, 6 months ago. Just wait for it to be announced, then you can write an article.

That being said, given the success of the Switch and the fact the games could easily run and there’s high demand, I do think EA needs to be called out. This isn’t the Wii U era anymore. There are tens of millions of gamers who WANT their games on Switch, not PS4 or X1. And seeing companies still, to this day, taking the ostrich approach doesn’t sit well with people.

Of course, they very well could release it on Switch later. I hope they do. Otherwise I’ll wait for a deep deep sale on Steam to give them as little money as possible.

Only solution is delete software, go to eShop under your account and access the Redownload list, then hold L and select Borderlands 2 to redownload. It should give a message about only downloading the software and not the DLC.

That will get your game running until the fix the issue. If you really want to get the DLC working, I’ve heard downloading the DLC from Japan eShop works, but that’s a lot of hassle so personally I’m just going to wait until they fix it.

@JaxonH I do find it baffling certain titles don't make it over. I'm pretty confused by the fact that all of the Toys for Bob Crash and Spyro stuff were yearly timed exclusives to PS4/Xbox One before coming to Switch and PC, especially since I'd much rather play stuff like N. Sane Trilogy and Spyro Reignited on Steam with 60fps like those games deserve

The ME remaster sounds fairly significant based on the BioWare press release and the games are already pretty memory hungry on PS3/360 if memory serves me correctly, so I'm honestly not surprised they skipped out on Switch anyway. I'm not expecting Mafia Anniversary levels of facelifting but it sounds substantial enough that maybe it's less of a straight port job than I thought it'd be compared to something like Dark Souls Remastered.

But yeah seeing those articles genuinely tires me out and makes the writers on this site look pretty unprofessional in my opinion with how they go to great lengths just to vocally bicker about such minute things like this. Like boo hoo no Switch version, big deal.
