It has nothing to do with mods. They had Pure and Split Second on PC and those were both Disney owned games. Star Wars and Marvel games are on PC too. It's probably a logistics thing, but no one has a for sure answer.

@ivory_soul Then you're crazy - dude bought you a brand new controller - what more could you want? Lend out used items, get back brand new items - it's a winning formula.

This whole fear of lending our things is baffling. I've been lending out things for literally decades and can count on one hand the number of times I've gotten something back in a different condition than before. Maybe I'm just lucky with my circle but I don't see it as an issue.

It will depend on your friends, @redd214 ... Even assuming they aren't stealing or deliberately breaking things, some people are less careful than others, especially kids/ teens There's some people I know I can trust to look after stuff well & others I know I can't! Doesn't mean I can't get on with the latter people otherwise, just don't lend them anything I care about

Exactly. I loaned my PS2 to my friend when we were in high school. They put it up on a shelf to play and yanked the controller a little too hard when they were playing and the whole thing smashed to the floor.

Well, my buddies drove to the mall, pooled their money, and bought me a new PS2. They didn't even tell me until they showed up at my house with a brand-new PS2 lol

Then the countdown to Wonderful 101, Borderlands Legendary Collection, Bioshock Collection, Xenoblade Chronicles and XCOM 2 (heck even Ninjala, which looks like it could be the new Splatoon) begins.

May is gonna be a banger, which is good because aside from Trials of Mana, April sucks.

Until I hear differently, I should be receiving my physical copy of The Wonderful 101: Remastered later this month since I backed the Kickstarter. I'm trying to decide if I want to start another Switch game in the meantime or just go all out on FE Fates: Birthright on 3DS until the game arrives.

Though I suppose I could try for better scores on some of the stages in Katamari Damacy Reroll.... :thinking_face:

I have both a physical and digital copy of W101 coming from Kickstarter. I’m going to assume we will receive the digital copies at the same time as the game’s launch. Hopefully.

I really, really want to play Pikmin 3. I swear, I’ve been waiting on a Switch port for years, but if they don’t announce Pikmin 3 or 4 for Switch by the fall, I’m just gonna fire up the Wii U again and indulge myself. I freaking loved that game. And that’s exactly what I’m in the mood for. Gosh dang it Nintendo.

Same goes for Metroid Prime. How long has that Switch port been rumored and leaked for? If they haven’t announced it by year’s end, I’m gonna fire up the Wii U for that as well.

Just so sick and tired of waiting for Pikmin and Metroid Prime on Switch. I mean, that’s where I want to play them, with joycon and dual analog gyro and all that good stuff. On a proper HD hybrid system. But I WILL bust out the Wii U if I have to. Don’t make me do this Nintendo.

@Tyranexx They plan to ship the game 2 weeks early for backers so assume early May if no delays.

I really liked the second game on Switch, so I'd be interested if it does come out.

I am surprised that after Switch FIFA "switched" to legacy editions, that EA is still supporting the Switch at all.

The Unravel games are fantastic games. One of the few indies that I absolutely love. And I'm not really a big indie person.

Not only would I be glad to see Unravel come to Switch, it's evidence of yet even more EA support. It seems they've had, at the very least, a slight change of heart (perhaps new leadership has brought with it a "what the heck is wrong with you, why aren't we supporting this system???" moment. They seem to finally be receptive to the fact it's already outsold the Xbox One, keeping pace with Wii/PS4 trends and many games are outselling their PS4 counterparts, and those that don't are at least doing well enough to make the investment worthwhile).

It's a sad day when even EA seems to be doing more with current gen releases on Switch than Capcom, even if they are remasters.

Ya know, I can't help but wonder...

EA only has so much development resources devoted to Switch. Perhaps they decided to skate on the annual sports titles, since A they don't do that well on Switch anyways and B they can rake 80% of the income just updating rosters, then shuffle that manpower and put it towards different games for Switch that have a better chance of selling.

That, combined with one or two outsourcings, can make for a decent little chunk of Switch support while only costing them minimal resources (it's not like it cost them a Switch release of FIFA each year- now that they've got the game on the system they can recycle it year to year while using those resources elsewhere).

Just a theory.

@JaxonH I'm imagining a silhouetted figure holding up a Wii U in front of Nintendo headquarters begging for the aforementioned games to come to the Switch. XD It makes for an interesting mental picture.

@Grumblevolcano Hmm...I knew they would ship earlier than the release date, but I wonder where I got it into my head that it was the last week of this month or something. Must've been a rumor or speculation I read. Not that I'm particularly bothered other than trying to figure out if I should start another Switch game. XD W101 would still come early enough that I don't see it interfering with Xenoblade as that won't be until the tail end of May.

@Tyranexx Estimated delivery on the game tiers were April 2020 then when the release date was revealed they said 2 weeks before launch.

@JaxonH The legacy versions of FIFA are probably so EA don't have to get Frostbite engine running on Switch.

Just got done with a lengthy binge session of Resident Evil Revelations 2 RAID Mode online with my brother.

Brings back memories. About 8 years ago we played the first Resident Evil Revelations RAID Mode online together on 3DS. Beat the entire game together.

I gotta say, it’s fantastic. The RAID Mode in Revelations 2, complete with gyro aiming and split joycon, it’s so much fun. We’re gonna play more tomorrow too, maybe some Gears 5 on PC as well. But if anyone hasn’t tried RE Revelations Collection on Switch, I highly recommend it. I am yet again reminded why these two games are my favorite Resident Evil games in the entire series. And frankly, the only two I really like at all. RE4 without gyro sucks, and on Wii it’s sub HD. RE7 is takes horror too seriously. RE5 and RE6 would probably be my 2nd favorite pair of games, but the difficulty is just really hard. For me at least. And RE2 and 3... can’t stand being constantly chased, and no RAID Mode on top... eh. But the Revelations games? Muah. Now that’s how you do Resident Evil.

3D World popped up on Bestbuy. Obviously still a rumor but I'd say it's a forgone conclusion at this point. Day one for me!!

Metroid Prime Trilogy also popped up at BestBuy yesterday.

Could this really be it? Is it really happening???

Perhaps another Direct coming soon if these end up real?

I’m really hoping for a new Tomodachi Life game. The 3DS title was so charming and bizarre and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m not sure what its chances are on Switch though considering Nintendo distancing themselves somewhat from Mii characters, but I’d love to see it. I just want more content, and for the game to not show its cards within the first few days of playing.
