FYI win 7 will reach end of life 2020 on January 14. That means no more security updates after that date.

@Therad I know. I'm not worried. My gaming rig is isolated except for updates.

I think it is, it’s also releasing on PC and that already has a port of Garfield Kart.

Unlike Odyssey, I wouldn't recommend loading up the Captain Toad VR mode if you don't have the Labo VR. It uses the BotW method of 2 halves of the screen showing the same thing. Whether it's worth it if you have Labo VR, well that's up to Labo VR users to decide.

@Therad Windows 10 is really solid nowadays, I'd recommend upgrading

@Ryu_Niiyama I wouldn't recommend sticking with Win 7, it's about to end security updates in early 2020, plus Windows 10 is really good nowadays. Also, I'd reckon the Switch version is probably launching alongside the Steam version in late 2020, so that would be a long ass wait.

I thought the Blaster VR mini game was excellent. However, I wasn’t a fan of the Zelda and Mario. Zelda was cool as a novelty, Mario just wasn’t fun at all. The captain toad could be good but really, if you’re going to buy into the LABO VR, do it for the Blaster mini game, and to do it knowing you may not play for more than a couple hours (The building is fun too though). I still think it’s worth it just because it’s such a unique and fun experience, but I’m not sure it’s really worth it beyond that.

Ordered the Zacian & Zamazenta Edition LiteSwitch from BestBuy. Used a $95 reward cert, and scored $5. back in rewards for the purchase. Hundo for a rad LiteSwitch? Can do.

XP and 7 were the best though 10 is a lot better than 8 and Vista.

I'm desperately trying to keep my eyes off of the sale list. Too much to play right now between Youngblood crash 1 and smm2. I've decided to hold off on doom 3 til October. Figure that'll be a fun Halloween game. Just trying to finish up my games before astral chain drops and takes up my attention.

Update 4.0 for Smash is live. So far going smoother than 3.0 did as far as the servers go.

@IceClimbers There's a good reason for that, DQ Hero is currently only up for Fighters Pass owners. You can't actually buy the character alone yet or the Mii Fighter costumes.

In case anyone is interested, the Pokemon Switch Lite still seems to be available at Gamestop.

So the full timeline for EA Switch stance is thus:

Early 2017: We want to see how FIFA 18 sells before supporting.

Late 2017: Frostbite wont run. Well I mean, we didn't try but...

• Early 2018 We want to see total demand for the system after a year before supporting further.

Mid 2018: FIFA 19 is coming, but we want to see demand after 2018 before deciding

Mid 2019: FIFA 20 is Legacy.

Now: EA games aren't played on Switch okay bye.
