@Grumblevolcano Well that's one game that explicitly supports a specific controller set. That's different than support for any mouse ever made, which can have various resolutions, latencies, update rates etc. I imagine a really high res gaming mouse can have some unexpected results in a game not expecting it. Maybe not breaking it but making the game not really work as intended.
@Octane
well, isn't that the niftiest damn thing, wouldn't work for squat, you'd have to use one or the other at a time, it's too big and you'd be fumbling all over the place, and effects on in game activities would be worse, but it looks cool as hell

@DarthNocturnal interesting, i never knew. Wonder if its only fortnight? I had one of those awful mouse adapters for ps3 that makes it into a ds3. What a nightmare!
@Knuckles-Fajita yeah, i remembered x had that. Not a game that realy benefits from it......it was a weird choice.
@Octane want want want want want! I forgot about that beauty!
@subpopz The nymphs ran out of Lums while they were making him because they got distracted by zombie roosters, so they did what they could. I'm pretty sure that's the canon reason.
@subpopz I think it's twofold. One, Nintendo's stuff is older and people for some reason assume that means it's now public domain. I would say, plus, KOTR is still for sale on XB and PC, but then, Super Metroid is also still for sale on WiiU, I suppose old Pokeons are not so there's one difference.
The other reason is, unfortunately it does seem like Nintendo's fan base is 40% more mature than other console fan bases and 60% less mature. There's more actual adults carrying on serious debates and conversations in the Nintendo community than PS/XB, but there also seems to be more whiny people that either are children or have a child-like mentality than PS/XB. So we get the best and the worst.
The whole "fan game" thing makes me very uncomfortable even at a very high level. The idea that someone's IP is yours to do with as you please, and the mental gymnastics that let them feel guilt free as though it's their right to do so is something I can't comprehend. I find it genuinely troubling that I live on a planet with so many people for whom the very concept of respect for other's things doesn't exist.
@subpopz I never understood why people are mad when a fan-made game goes public and Ninty shuts them down. If they don't do that, they're basically green-lighting all fan-made projects.
Now, if it's about Ninty shutting down ROM sites, and not offering a proper alternative, there's an argument to be made
@Octane
God I love fan made games, true, many kinda suck, but you can run into some really awesome ones too, yah, instead of Nintendo shutting them down, they should get the programmer or modder and say "hay, come work with us"
I hope fan games NEVER die out
