@darkfenrir@Octane My mistake, I thought I read that it was a PS4 console exclusive, obviously I recognise it was on PC too. Seems odd to me for a big Square Enix title like this to not be on both consoles.

@FragRed Happens to a lot of Japanese third party games. Maybe they think it's not worth the effort releasing it on Xbox One? I'm sure the royalty fees, manufacturing costs, licensing, and the likes play a big role too.
Like is Crash exclusive...or isnt it? They havent said so...which implies it isnt. But its not on anything else...which implies it is. But it doesnt say "Only on Playstation".
Same with Nier. Console exclusive? Microsoft and Nintendo make it clear.
Sony? Eeh. Depends on the game.

Platform holders don't have to say whenever a game isn't exclusive, because they will do so if a game is. Sony hasn't said anything about Crash, which was published and developed by Activision, so it may end up on other consoles. Whether that happens is up to Activision, they own the IP. And if Sony has paid for exclusive rights, it would've said so on the box.
We finally have the Japanese Media Create sales figures for the period of December 25th to 31st.
Media Create: Nintendo Switch Dominates Christmas Sales in Japan; Local Wii U Lifetime Sales Passed Media Create released its sales stats for Japan, showing a radical Switch domination. The console took exactly ten months to pass the Wii U's total sales.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE By my calculations, that means that 36,814 units from the '3DS family of consoles' were sold - pretty close to the figure for PS4's...and people wonder why Nintendo aren't killing the 2DS/3DS off? I don't think that it'll get much more in the way of 'top tier' software anymore - but as long as it's still in demand (and providing a 'budget' option for their customers), it makes sense that Nintendo would keep it in supply - at least until they can give the Switch a price-drop, or phase the 3DS out in favour of a 'budget model' Switch at some point
