Ah yes, that's another thing. I gave my Wii to friends, so the Wii U is my only method of playing Wii games, as well.

Never really did like playing Wii games on the Wii U, though. They were so full of jagged edges.

Keep your Wii U.
You can use it for your Wii and Wii U games.
Wii games output looks better from Wii U machine rather than using AV2HDMI Converter from Wii (The result was Too Bright, Quite washed out by using AV2HDMI)
And for some Wii U games that made you bored, me too have some Wii U games that still Unfinished due to lack of the Hype. But i still kept them, maybe i will gain my Hype back someday because i still see their potential.

You can have BOTH Wii U and Switch, standing together in your gaming room.
Two is better than one, right ?

I would never personally sell my Wii U. But I'm not really crunched financially either, and it's modded to play all my GameCube and Wii games digitally from the SD card, so not only are the discs preserved but loading times improved and Wii U Pro Controller for GC in HD widescreen.

But. Not everyone is like me. If I were in a situation where I couldn't afford a game I loved on Switch, I'd sell my Wii U copy to buy it. Cause either way, I'd only have one. Might as well be the superior Switch version.

Money can be obtained from selling something else, but not from my Wii U.
Remember what i have ever said about my gaming devices ?
My Nintendo machines and games are Ohana.
Ohana in Hawaii means Family.
Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten.
That's also working for every single my Nintendo machines and games.
I will not throw away Super Mario 3D World Wii U just for getting Switch games.
They are belong to me, my "Family" members.

I get it. As I just said I would never sell mine either.

But when you give advice, you cannot force your views on to everyone else. Just because you would never do it and I would never do it, does not mean they should never do it. You have to open your mind to the realization that not everyone is like you, or me.

@Ralizah That's one bizarre looking game and one that I'll definitely be adding to my collection. I love platformers and bullet hell shooters, so those combined with some cute bunny girls and an 80% Metacritic rating = day one buy!

@Anti-Matter if Lilo and Stitch can teach people to keep their consoles safe than I will start to admire Disney even more!

The Long Dark devs are exploring the possibility of porting their survival/exploration game to the Nintendo Switch.

@Spoony_Tech Well I was only responding to his generations argument, which is a flawed one to begin with. I agree.

I still feel strongly that some of you, and by that I mean 2 of you, need to play this game.

I have this game on Steam, its probably one of the best Metroidvania games I've played yet. Extremely non-linear once you get the double jump early on.

Boss fights are VERY Touhou inspired as well!

That Chromagun trailer starts off ok, but then descends into ****.

So skies of fury is a port of a mobile game. Can't imagine how the controls where just using a touchscreen.

Compared to all these old men I must look like I still have training wheels on.

I have about $40-$60 bucks waiting for this next Nintendo direct. Come on NeiR port.

@Caldorosso-E Nier seems unlikely. It already struggles on other consoles so i doubt that it would run well on a portable one

@Kimyonaakuma Looking at it's PC specs, it looks like it's above DOOM. But on PC NeiR is optimised poorly, so who knows?

I would not expect Nier Automata to be coming to the Nintendo Switch anytime soon, if ever. Doesn't Sony have a console exclusive agreement on that game for the PlayStation 4? So unless it's timed, then I really don't think it will come.
