@rallydefault Have I ever told you you're awesome?The factory reset of Switch worked. I had already reset my router, it was one of the first things I tried. I would never have thought of resetting my Switch though considering I'd just done it. I gave up last night, was so annoyed. I was thinking a new expensive unlimited mobile data package might be my only option. But thankfully I'm now connected to my home network. I'm well happy now
@Peek-a-boo
We know for a fact Platinum is working on something for Switch. And we know that anything teased concerning Bayonetta 2 would have to be a Switch tease since its exclusive to Nintendo, and that pic is most definitely teasing the first 2 games. The fact it's red and blue, with a mirrored layout like joycons, and the fact Platinum is going through and liking every tweet that's made the connection...
I'd say it's pretty much a given at this point. Ya they've thrown out tweets in the past about a potential Bayo3, and conveyed that they'd love to do a 3rd, but this is different. This is a rock solid tip off to a Switch port of Bayo1/2 from Wii U.
And I suspect Nintendo is all for it. After all, they funded the game, and it sold over a million copies on Wii U, of all systems. They're probably counting on another million (or more) from a Switch release, and they should. People will be all over this.

That's 5 games from NIS for Switch now. All of which are receiving special edition physical releases on the NIS Online Store.
Disgaea 5
Tohou Kobuto V: Burst Battle
Nights of Azure 2
Penny Punching Princess
The Longest 5 Minutes
A huge salute to NIS for their bold step forward here. Disgaea 5 must have done really well (think it almost had as many preorders on Switch as the game sold total on PS4, and Tohou Kobuto V trailer had more views on YT than the PS4 version last I checked...) and now they're slowly migrating their releases onto the platform. I will reward NIS in equal measure for that support, and plan to have a complete NIS special edition collection on my shelf.
The Switch is swallowing up the Vita market, as expected. Heard Xonic is next.
@JaxonH There's the Smash advantage too, back when Bayonetta 1 and 2 came to Wii U originally it happened just because Nintendo funded the 2nd game. Since then Bayonetta won the Smash ballot out of the realistic choices (I still think Shrek was probably the true #1), got her own DLC (character + stage + music + trophies). People have also been waiting for the amiibo release to complete their Smash collection, there is definitely much more hype about Bayonetta now then there was back in 2014 when the Wii U games came out.
@Ralizah
Ya. Idea Factory recently stated they could bring Neptunia to Switch, and that fans should let them know. Which, I mean come on. I can understand some games that maybe don't have a market, but it's pretty clear there's an emerging market for these types of games. Just ask NIS. If they want to expand, then PS4 versions alone won't cut it. They need to be on Switch as well. Fans can't reasonably take to twitter over every single game series. Once in a while, ok. I did it for Monster Hunter and would do it again. But it should be the exception, not the rule. And those who take that step forward and show support, will get support in return. Those who hesitate... well, keep hesitating and losing out I guess.
@Grumblevolcano
That's true. And we know Smash is coming. They probably just want to space the ports out a bit. A Bayo1/2 release with amiibo unlocks for the game, along with a Smash port with all DLC will do wonders for setting the stage for a 3rd entry down the line.

Also came across this. Famitsu are reporting game and hardware sales data from December 26, 2016 to June 25, 2016. Nintendo has the Top 5 games and 8 out of the 10 are on Nintendo platforms. Switch takes top spot for hardware sold.

Do the NIS games that are up for preorder on their site tend to become normal physical games in normal stores, or do they just go digital only after the direct preorders?
@NEStalgia I've never had a problem finding their games in other digital storefronts. No idea how big the print runs are, but I wouldn't worry too much.
@Ralizah Thanks. Yeah I'm not too concerned about the LE's on these games, and I'm not into pre-ordering games that look "potential" filled but uncertain how they really play a year before they even release.
Its either an open beta which is just free testing so they dont need to pay as many QA people and save cash, or do what PREY did and say "You dont need a demo you can do the 2 hour refund thing"
Now Playing: Mario & Luigi Brothership, Sonic x Shadow Generations
Now Streaming: The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
Well, I'd rather what we have than a bulkier, super heat producing thing that lasts for half an hour. Ideally though, of course we would want Nintendo to have the most powerful hardware possible, but given what they've been able to accomplish I think they did very amazing with it.
I don't know why people expect a tablet to be as powerful as a PS4. Technology isn't THAT advanced that Nintendo could have done that while still keeping it affordable and making sure it didn't have an abysmal battery life.
