The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth + confirmed for release in PAL regions on 7th September 2017. No doubt Cave Story + and Redout release dates will follow.
@Nicolai They're only jarring when you first unbox them. After you've owned them the colors look perfectly natural, and all other colors look flat and boring. It's a true phenomenon. When I opened the box I was like "OMG, maybe this was a mistake, I did not expect them to be THIS bright!" After a few days, I got used to it, and barely even notice the r/b olors anymore....they're almost pastels to me when I pick it up now, or glance at the dock. It's a weird psychological phenomenon. Or the brighness burned out the neon receptors in my retinas and I can't see that shade anymore
The yellow is the exception. They look AWESOME in Highlighter yellow, but they don't ever look any less neon. I admit, it's my favorite controller now..... something about holding a game controller that looks like it's meant for beach sports epitomizes fun
I wanted the neon Joy Cons Switch so badly, but after what I went through looking for a Switch I stuck with the grey JC Switch. Oh well, at least I'm considering buying them this Christmas if I can't get my hands on the SNES Mini...
Im curious when Sony is going to be done by the EU for monopolistic abuse. Like genuinely. They actively deny consumer choice with EA Access and cross platform play. Wouldnt be a new thing for them coming under fire though.
So if the rumours about MH and now DQ are true, something has to give. Its not 1985 anymore.
Now Playing: Mario & Luigi Brothership, Sonic x Shadow Generations
Now Streaming: The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
EU people: it seems Sony is pretty dominant over there? I just read that the Crash Bandicoot remake is now the highest-selling opening on any single platform this year (meaning it beat Horizon and obviously every Xbox and Nintendo competitor).
I honestly didn't realize EA Access wasn't on PS4 because Sony refused, I thought it was just Xbox exclusive due to the relationship Microsoft had with EA going into the XB1 generation.

lol. It's not even a rumour, someone made it up if you've heard that. All I'm seeing is that DQXI is ''confirmed'' for the west, they didn't mention any platforms.
Funny you mention the cross play debacle. The irony of it all is that the headliners made it seem as if Sony was the only one that didn't want to participate. It gets more interesting. If I buy Rocket League on Steam, I can play against someone on a PS4. I can't play against someone on an Xbox One, because Microsoft doesn't want cross play with Steam. So when they say Xbox, Switch and PC all share cross play, it's kinda true, but with a big asterisk behind it. Seems like a big deal, but nobody talks about that...
And EA Access is terrible anyway. Nintendo refused it too, and good for them.
@rallydefault I hope so re. Crash trilogy. That'll mean the used market will be well supplied with copies shortly when everyone realises the memory was greater than the reality. Then I can swoop.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
@gcunit
lol yea I'm thinking about getting it... but those games sure were clunky. I'm gonna hold off for a bit. Catch up on some other stuff until Splatoon 2 in a couple weeks.
I like colors, so my Red/Blue JoyCons are awesome! Plus, it makes it easy to differentiate between them. If/when I get another set of JoyCons, I really want the pink/green ones, they look awesome!
I'm struggling to justify spending $40 on Binding of Isaac. I've never played it before but it definitely appeals to me. Just $40 for an indie download seems a lot. I think the most I've ever spent on an indie game is £20. If the game clicks with me i know I'll get loads out of it but I've got loads out of other far cheaper indie games too. So I can't value it as to how much I'll play it. Can anyone justify its price to me so I'll feel a little better about buying it?
I've found an easy way to get around the 'global restrictions' Amazon.com put on digital orders outside the US. It tells you when you attempt to buy that you need to have a US card/billing address. Customer support told me the same when I asked but really you don't, the one you already have on file is fine. All you need to have is a US shipping address which is easy, just use any hotel's address, it's not important as your codes are sent by email. I already had a friend's address on file anyway. What you need to change to lift the restriction is your 'One click' settings within your account settings and you need to do it on a desktop or on desktop mode on your phone or it doesn't work for some reason .Set the US address as your 'One click' shipping address, enter the details of the card that you already have on file and select standard shipping. Then that's it, you're good to go. You can now easily buy $5 to $70 Eshop codes or individual game codes and save yourself a fair bit over buying them on our own more expensive Eshop . Best example is BOTW, £59.99 or $59.99 which converts to £46.32.I know this last part is already obvious to most on here but maybe not the Amazon part . If you tried, you got blocked so you probably gave up as even customer service will tell you that it's not possible. But they're wrong.
Has anyone bought anything directly on the US Eshop with a foreign card? I know some were having problems with it not accepting their cards. This Amazon solution seems to be the easiest way around it. It's extremely rare for UK /EU prices to work out lower than US prices so this is definitely the way to go for those going all digital.
@OorWullie If you're that unsure about it I say wait for a sale. I personally wouldn't pay that much but I did play the New 3ds version and enjoyed what was there. Not sure 40$ justifies this game though as I've not played it. You also seem to have more then enough to play so just hold off on the inevitable sale.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
I played Isaac Rebith on Wii U for 50+ hours and I have unlocked about 30% of the game.
Since this is Afterbirth+ with even more content, there will be even more replayability.
If this is your first Isaac game, you won't regret it, as you most probably get your moneys worth out of it, but for everyone that has already played it on Wii U, I can see the jump from 15€ (digital Rebirth on Wii U) to 40€ (retail Afterbirth+ on Switch) being a bummer, especially when for me the Wii U version is still big enough and fun enough for another 50-100 hours of gameplay.
