Switcccccccchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! (newish Zelda footage in the video)
A nice detail I noticed in this trailer that I don't believe was visible in the trailer was that Link surfs on his shield while he holds the reins to the desert walrus, which pulls him.
So how many copies do people think this will end up selling?
It'll obviously depend on the Switch. I'm gonna say it's 100% gonna sell over 5 million though. Which would put it as the best selling Zelda since Twilight Princess.
The thing with dungeons in skyward sword is that, at least some of them, were more than just self contained maps at the other side of a warp point.
They were more designed so the space they took made sense in relation to the land around them.
Like... They were actual physical places within the regions of the land. Instead of, say, a giant underground torture abyss somehow hiding behind a tiny graveyard.
And the areas around them opened up as you progressed and got new items. Making the process of reaching the dungeon a bit like playing through a dungeon itself.
Has anyone seen the estimation of the size of the BotW map? If it is really this big I am pretty much going to be playing this until Mario comes out. I still have to beat Xenoblade X...perhaps I only need to buy Zelda at launch...
EDIT: Ok Nintendo everything seems to hate hotlinking so I had to find another image. It doesn't show the comparison to Skyrim though.

"[For example], one day I picked up the latest build of the game and went to an area, and saw that all the objects that were supposed to be in that area weren't there. I was quite surprised and confused, and I realised after asking the programmer, the reason the objects weren't there was because the wind in-game had blown them all away."
@Meowpheel: You highlighted what I believed was one of the strong points in Skyward Sword; each dungeon was in a believable space and seemed to exist organically in the world (with the possible exception of that weird rearranging puzzle dungeon in Skyloft.) The Sandship was my favorite dungeon in the game as it seemed to exist organically in the world versus being "just another temple", and it employed the use of time shift stones (It loses in terms of the boss, however). I hope that BotW holds to this idea with the shrines and (if they exist) larger dungeons.

I keep seeing a couple of comparison images for botws world and skyrims. One has it being good slightly bigger than twice skyrims size and another has it being like 4x+ skyrims size. Leading me to believe neither of them
There were mountains between many parts of the world in Skyrim. Breath of the Wild has a much longer draw distance, but its mountains mostly seem to rim the central Hyrule basin. If nothing else, that will make the world feel smaller. Plus climbing, (better / faster) horse-riding, and paragliding will make the world feel way smaller, minus how much the game's enemies and climes push back.
Just pre ordered the BoTw amiibo range from the Nintendo UK store. They've bumbed the price of these up £2 each, now £12.99 and the Guardian is £16.99...
Brings my March 3rd order total up to £540!!! And that's just with one game!!! Gulp....
@G0dlike Well, you don't HAVE to have everything do you? LOL I can't say anything I am getting the system, zelda SE, the amiibo and a procon day one. Sigh, to think this is my cheap hobby.

I'm guessing that "one game" is BotW? It's your money but £540 seems a ridiculous amount when compared to my £35 pre-order for the Wii U version. I have also pre-ordered the Switch/BotW but seriously thinking of cancelling. As much as I want one I'm not sure I can justify paying so much for a game I can get for almost ten times less.
By releasing the Switch and Wii U versions of BotW at the same time I'm not sure if Nintendo are shooting themselves in the foot or making a genius business decision. I suspect quite a few Wii Us will be sold come March 3rd...
