@Octane You should be able to just delete a game and leave the save data so if you ever want to play again, you can just redownload the game from eShop and continue your game. Save data files are really small too so I doubt you have to resort to deleting any of them.
It's its, not it's.

Still no news as to whether or not the Wii U gets any special versions of the game?
At this point is very unlikely - I checked a number of online shops and all I could find was the plain regular version. Actually, I couldn't find much info on the WiiU version, full stop - some online retailers still show the temporary cover art and the placeholder date of April the 1st, but the page for the Switch version is updated with full details everywhere.
I went ahead and pre-ordered my copy for the WiiU, something I never do but with all the emphasis on the Switch I fear that the WiiU version will be printed in relatively small quantities.
Top-10 games I played in 2017: The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild (WiiU) - Rogue Legacy (PS3) - Fallout 3 (PS3) - Red Dead Redemption (PS3) - Guns of Boom (MP) - Sky Force Reloaded (MP) - ...

@spizzamarozzi Europe is always a bit behind. Nintendo, while obviously focusing on the Switch version, has this updated Wii U version tucked away in a corner at the bottom of the page;
@Tsurii I should've said Nintendo of America, but you get my point! I'm sure that in a week or two NOE will also update their site and update the box art for the Wii U version.
@Octane
I like the idea of that art, but I wish they would've either cropped it a bit wider or removed the birds in the top right corner altogether. Now they look like some awkward black blobs. Here's the uncropped version for reference:
Currently on the plate:
Mount and Blade: Warband – Napoleonic Wars
Chivalry
Super Mario 3D World – Finishing the last few levels.
Mario Kart 8
@ClockworkMario Compare the two, the birds aren't even in the same location, same is true for the ''background''. It's not the exact same image, looks like they specifically made it for the box art, which makes the presence of those birds all the more puzzling.
@Nicolai I know right? It's strange how the English version sticks out like that.
@Dezzy That's a pretty standard pose, used by hundreds of games and movies...
@Honelith Having an AVR with 1080p upscaling helps a bit, although the difference is not that big that it alone would justify buying an AVR unless you need it anyway.
@Dreamliner I was one of those who constantly stated that the Switch version will not feature superior graphics... but I was wrong. The Switch version will feature a much bigger draw distance, e.g. when you stand on top of a mountain, objects that a far away (like trees) still show a lot of detail (like leaves). It becomes really apparent in this comparison video:
@Octane@Dezzy They added the birds because the EU cover has way too much negative space above Link's head. Especially since the logo is at his feet.
The NA cover is just a much better composed piece of art, what with Link and his sword silhouetted (a technique the edgy Souls and Destiny covers forgo to have their subjects large in frame) against the skyline. And then to have Hyrule Castle and Death Mountain lined up from where he is is inspired. Even if the colors are a bit less saturated, the NA cover is just a better composition right down to the contrast between the parchment-toned title and the shadow created by the rock Link's standing upon.
Anyway, you can see all of Breath's concepts, promotional art, and both layers of the EU cover in my album here.
Not sure if this has been covered here yet, but Nintendo has supposedly provided some key differences to IGN between the Wii U and Switch versions of BotW.
-Both launch on the same day, March 3.
-Both have a frame rate of 30fps.
-Both versions of the game offer the same content.
-On a TV, the Nintendo Switch version of the game renders in 900p while the Wii U version renders in 720p.
-The Nintendo Switch version has higher-quality environmental sounds. As a result, the sound of steps, water, grass, etc. are more realistic and enhance the game’s Open-Air feel.
-The physical copy of the Wii U version will require 3GB of available memory on the Wii U system or an external drive.
-Some icons, such as onscreen buttons, differ between the two versions.
-A Special Edition and Master Edition of the Wii U version are not available.
Unless you're a spec nut, the differences seem truly minimal.
