I do realize that this might have been discussed already, but are there any news as to what the contents in the Master Edition of Breath of the Wild, PAL edition? Why on earth is it less contents than the NTSC?

The dubbing teams are top notch, almost Disney level to find voice actors that match the pitch of the original Japanese actors.
Going by the trailer and comparisons, I think I'll just have to suck up my dislike of the Hyrule pronunciation enforced by Nintendo for the Spanish languague (Latin America does not use the same rules for that as Spain, damn it!) and use the LA dub. I loved it. English sounds nice, but Zelda's cry feels so empty considering she throws herself in Link's arms, wailing, due to seemingly screwing up something important.
Don't mind the voice overs, but this video from DF shows that there's a ''Main Quest'', presumably this means that there will also be minor or side quests, and by the looks of it you can select them and they will point you in the right direction; like any open world RPG from the last 10 years, but it's nice to see that it's also making an appearance in Zelda. Hopefully this means that we're getting some substantial side quests this time.
Seems like I have to import a ME from the US.. Does anyone know if more will be available? It is sold out everywhere.. But, then again, knowing Nintendo, they probably won't..
@espresso
I'm sorry, but Reggie did say in the Treehouse stream that the Master edition would be "extremely limited" while the Special edition would have a bit more stock - but not much more.
@Octane I detest side quests. Either it somehow links to the main campaign (and therefore not a side quest), or it's irrelevant filler only there to pad out the supposed gameplay hours.
Please don't let BotW be stuffed with needless filler.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
@gcunit Sorry. Was not aware about that point in the community rules. Never seen that before on a forum, so not used to it. The message was good, though, so I have taken away the profanity.
"I'm so sick of this. Nintendo is the worst when it comes to supply. They always have to release like 10 units at a time to create hype. And 90% of them are bought by scalpers who sell it at triple the price on Ebay. It happened with the Majora's Mask 3DS, Amiibo, NES Classic, and now this. I hate having to sleep with one eye open because they pop up on Target.com at 3 AM with no warning whatsoever. Nintendo really needs to change this extremely annoying marketing."
@Octane @gcunit
One of you is going to be happy and the other not, it seems. Side quests were confirmed in one of the Treehouse streams https://youtu.be/qadzCB3CLlI?t=16317 . He even accepts the quest, which is about a legendary white horse roaming nearby.
I don't mind side quests as long as they're not exclusively of the Ubisoft variant: i.e. go here and collect/kill/protect 10 flower/enemies/cargo items. Good side quests can be mini stories on their own, flesh out the world and reward those who go the length.
Xenoblade looked just fine on my massive TV. Were you sitting too close?
Hah, no, my 1080p PC monitor, not ideal for games which don't run at 1080p, but SM3DW, NSMBU, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess look fantastic on this monitor, I put Xenoblade Chronicles X on and I wince at the loss of quality.
@gcunit I love side quests, especially if they're given similar treatment to the main quest, with its own helping of back-story and drama, and give you a proper incentive rather than just rupees I can just find on the ground. Perhaps like some kind of minor item you can't get anywhere else that upgrades the experience without making it necessary or too easy. Oh, and you're never forced to do them, but they're also not too hard to find, all being in some kind of central location. One with a complex time-based schedule, perhaps...
Why yes, Majora's Mask is my favorite Zelda game. How did you guess?
"The dubbing teams are top notch, almost Disney level to find voice actors that match the pitch of the original Japanese actors"
I was highly surprised that they did voice-acting for 6 languages. Man, they go all out!
"Enjoy your long loading times on the U"
I certainly will! Your loading times will be even longer....if you have to wait for a Switch to play it (presumably short supplies)!
Also: So the boxart where link stands sideways is the European one? Hmm, I like the American one better. However, the Wii u version still shows the artwork of link with the arrow. Is that a place-holder?
As for sidequests: I think those will give us the characters, the story, the lore. If you go straight for Ganon, its a simple story. But do the side-quests, and you get a richer story. Something like that. We'll see.
As for crying Zelda: In the Japanese version its maybe a little to much, but its always dramatic in Japan. The English crying however, is a bit to soft.
And Link who is beaten up: That looks quite heavy for a Zelda game. I am not complaining though, since it isn't to much in my opinion. But its heavy nonetheless.
@gcunit If done well, they are great additions. Zelda has always been about exploring, but instead of going somewhere without a goal, you can have characters pointing you in a direction and it can involve a little story. Not for every hidden item/treasure chest, but it can make the world feel more ''alive''. Like the link @ClockworkMario posted, seems like that guy is pointing you to the location of a horse with better than average stats (assuming the game counts it as a real side quest). Anyway, they can give you a sense of direction in a game that can be overwhelmingly big.
They've shown side quests during the let's play video at The Game Awards and one during the Switch Treehouse stream. The first was to go beat an enemy camp surrounding a goddess statue (the main quest) and the second was to find a white horse on a particular hill. Basically, they're just telling you to 'go play the game.' There's nothing Deus Ex or Elder Scrolls here so far.
The filesize reveals make your hope for higher res textures unlikely Haru. 13GB for Wii U vs 13.4GB for Switch.
400MB not enough to be higher res textures for the entire game. Probably being spent on something else. Maybe some bonus content in the Switch version. Or maybe just different file types being used that have inflated it.
