Nice, but short trailer. Quite some intriguing stuff though. Like the girl: Is she Zelda or Sheik? Why so secretive?
And that strange bird with that cool looking air-ship. Must be the true villain. Looks a bit like Falco, Lol. Why does he look a little bit similar to Link (blue cloths/scarf, a bow, etc). is he a Rito? But there are also parrot-like creatures, as seen in the other video. Also, looks like we really will take to the air at some point, in some way (airship, animal, you name it) Cool!
The guardians, did they originally protect Hyrule (it does look so)? Also, new Hyrule origin-story (Sheikah created Hyrule, first life-forms where somekind of goblins?)?
And we see Link fighting next to another person, coop confirmed?
Also that dog, a Link companion? Wouldn't surprise me if wolf-link is just a skin for Amiibo-owners, while other people can use this dog.
Questions, lots of questions...Luckily it looks like the story is a little bit more then "prevend Ganon from escaping Hyrule-castle"!
Does anyone happen to know how low the FPS dropped during the boss fight against Gohdan in the Tower of the Gods in Wind Waker HD when Gohdan dropped a series of bombs? That was a huge FPS drop, and I hope that drop doesn't happen in Breath of the Wild.
That wasn't Link fighting the Bokoblins, that was two dull human NPCs.
I really don't think it's Sheik again, even if that would fit with the setting. After all, Sheik is just Zelda dressed up in a particular costume at a specific time, and neither are present in Breath of the Wild.
@Haru17: Finally, a piece of Switch footage where we don't have to break it down frame by frame to see if it's fake or not!
Boy, Jimmy Fallon did a good job of pretending to be excited for SMR, knowing he was going to get to try the Switch, huh?
The framerate seemed pretty smooth, didn't it? There wasn't really anything intensive going on except for the explosion, but the explosion seemed silky smooth.
Anyway, the Jimmy Fallon show is all kinds of cringe-worthy, which fits Nintendo's personality perfectly, imo.
Oh, and I found a quote for my sig: "You use the meat for life, and, uh, it's a phenomenal game." ~ Reggie Fils-Aime, 2016
Both images are off-screen captures, but it's clear that the Switch version has a way better drawing distance (assuming they are the same demo builds).
I shouldn't understate how heartened I am to see the background looking not so washed out, though. That's so so so important in an open world game — especially one where you can snipe people with boulders.
Wii U version more difficult version confirmed, can't see the Death Mountain Guardian sniping at you with that draw distance, insta death at any moment.
@Octane: I don't think being able to see the totally-confirmed giant sniping Death Mountain guardian is going to give you a competitive edge. It's either you're seeing the Guardian sniping at you or seeing Death Mountain sniping at you.
