what if zelda added in a dating sim, you pick the girl you like, she stays at home base, and then you bring her back things from your treasure hunting and she could craft you different things to sell to the shops at the different towns. find a sparkly gem and give it to her to make her happiness go up
and if you came home past dark she would be standing there right as you walk in scolding you lol.
and finally you could give her a weapon and have her come with you across the fields of hyrule
imagine zelda with a deku stick smacking bokoblins on te head lol
This will happen, except instead of being able to choose a girl, the girl is Peatrice, the item check girl from Skyward Sword.
@Aromaiden It wasn't so much the designs that I didn't like. On their own, they were fine (if a little ugly). It was the bloodcurdling shrieks that accompanied the designs that made them seem worse. I initially thought I was entering a battle when the first Great Fairy in Ocarina jumped out. She seemed more like a witch than a fairy.
Let the nightmares commence!
The Peatrice sidequest was definitely one of the more amusing/interesting ones. I broke her heart in my initial playthrough by telling her dad (which made me feel awful), and then during my Hero Mode playthrough I pretended to acknowledge her advances...her gushing was kinda awkward. O_o
I don't think it's weird that the team behind Dead or Alive is responsible for some of the most physically attractive models the Zelda series has seen.
I love Dead or Alive!!! I love how Hyrule Warriors had camera angles directly on boobs. Heck even The Great Fairy's boobs shake/jiggle in Hyrule Warriors...
@Blast: It's definitely a step forward in quality for the Legend of Zelda franchise. I'm looking forward to the clothing damage Linkle can sustain in battle.
Currently Playing: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond (NS2); Corpse Factory (PC)

Lol, I'm absolutely cracking up right now! I don't think I've ever burst out laughing while reading forums before.
There is literally no one else on these forums who would unashamedly say something like this, with all seriousness.
Gotta love it.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

Zelda a puzzle game? Are you seriously thinking Zelda have more in common with Dr Mario than it has with games like skyrim? Zelda is an action adventure rpg. Puzzle elements are not uncommon in that genre.

i love that everyone thinks those are the only kind of puzzle games lol, when you have to walk around a room for 20+ minutes trying to figure out how to get through, or when you have to fight a enemy for 5+ minutes til you figure out how to hurt them, those are puzzles.
if you have trouble seeing zelda as a puzzle game, remember back on the water temple in ocarina of time. that entire temple was one giant puzzle, and a messed up one that had you retracing your steps for even one misstep or if you forgot to do something in one area you had to redo the entire puzzle.
@Tsurii: Hmm...I think you have played enough Zelda to be familiar with most of the puzzle elements and now you just see them as trivial. However...they are still puzzles
I never drive faster than I can see. Besides, it's all in the reflexes.
@Tsurii: Actually, it's not clear what you're supposed to do when you first enter the Water Temple. You have to run around and hit switches or something before you finally figure out that you're supposed to raise the water levels.
I think that qualifies as a puzzle, at least.
@VeeFlamesNL: The puzzle aspect is figuring out when to lower and raise the water level, finding out that you need to raise the water level isn't a puzzle.
You hear about measuring the intelligence of primates in labs with the old experience of hanging up a banana where they cannot reach it, and putting a block that they can push under it to gain some height.
Some figure this out and some don't. It's a really simple puzzle to us human beings, because we all grew up in households that have boxes, step-ladders, and cookie-jars on the counters. But just because it's really simple, it doesn't mean it's not a puzzle, if that's the primary obstacle between you and the banana/cookie/final boss in each dungeon. Zelda dungeons are filled with these chimpanzee puzzles that are put in a convoluted system of rooms, and Zelda veterans are less likely to be baffled by the large scale of each dungeon.
