@bezerker99 I'm interested in how you lit the lab lamp without taking out the Guardian.
Once you've lit the lab lamp you just need to go back in and talk to Robbie, I'd have thought.
I took out the Guardian first before going and getting the blue flame and lighting the lamp at the lab there. Once the blood moon rises that Guardian comes back so you can never permanently get rid of it.
It's so strange because I've lit all the lamps over at Hateno Village and they all stayed lit. And I also lit all the lamps I found on my way back to the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab. As I said, all stayed lit except this one lamp. (There is a stable just to the south. I need to see if that lamp stayed lit as well, not sure).
@Qwertyninty I think that's point of putting you back before Ganon is defeated so you can 100% the game , some side quests and dungeons wouldn't exist after Ganon is defeated so you wouldn't be able to do those
@gcunit Wow. I've only been playing the game - you've been living it!
In hindsight I regret using the fast travel quite as much as I did earlier on. The idea of venturing into the unknown and feeling vulnerable in relation to the world is, by far, the best bit about the game.
That said I don't think I'll be able to keep it up. Eventually I have to finish playing it (or at least put it aside) so it's good that the fast travel is there.
@StuTwo When I registered my first horse at the Dueling Peaks Stable, having just fallen in love with the game for the second time, I vowed to my first horse, Eric, that I would remain faithful to him the entire game.
I stayed loyal for quite some time, but ultimately on that self-imposed condition, I failed. Before I'd found many other stables or realised that you can take out the same horse no matter where you left it, I'd got somewhere miles away from Eric and felt the need to cover some ground quickly so shamefully found myself another horse, Susan.
And now... well poor Eric and Susan don't get much of a look-in because Jimbo entered my life, has 2 more stamina star-things and so is better for evading guardians, plus he now has a mohawk mane - watcha gonna do?
As for fast-travel, I'm reaching the point soon where I'll perhaps start using it. I didn't achieve much on my first trip through the Great Hyrule Forest, so am having to go away and return after I've done a few more things, and I'm starting to pay more attention to all the side-quests. But we'll see - still loving the ride at the moment.

Apparently this is a glitch in the game as another online friend of mine said his blue flame will not stay lit in that particular lamp either. Anyways, just wanted to throw that out there.
I wish Nintendo could fix this with an update. This and the glitch where Epona gets stuck on The Great Plateau if you spawn her there.
@gcunit It's just my OCD personality. Small stuff like this bugs me. When you've gone to the trouble of lighting all the lamps with blue flames at Hateno Village, then you come here to Akkala and light all these - it's just odd that that one lamp won't stay lit and it irks me, lol.
@DarthNocturnal Yeah, the Epona oversight is more of a priority, I agree. I ended up restarting the game a few weeks back just to be able to register her in a stable.
@bezerker99 I think you just gotta roll with the idea that the guardian nearby doesn't like the lamp being lit, so each time it respawns, it puts the lamp out.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
@erv I wonder if it's possible to park it on top of one of those smooth stone slabs, and statis launch it up there without killing it.
If not, than maybe with one of those flying machines.
As for exiting the plateau, that's near impossible at the moment, and would fetch a high value from speedrunners. It's actually possible to get on the ground, but Nintendo set up a second box just outside the great plateau with an almost failsafe kill-factor. It still could happen, though. People thought that big skip in Wind Waker was impossible for a while.
@bezerker99 You didn't have to restart your game. My son couldn't register her either and he kept scanning the Amiibo everyday and got her again about a week later.
John 8:7 He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
@Spoony_Tech I don't know how your son managed to do that! I scanned Link amiibo forever and she never respawned until she either died (dang Guardian lit her on fire!) or until I created that new Save File.
@Spoony_Tech I know the spoiler you are referring too. And I've not found that yet in my game. But I swear when she died, I took my Link amiibo and instantly scanned her back into the game. I could be crazy lol but that's how I remember it happening.
I'm going to scour the internet for more info regarding all of this.
@erv There is a way to get off the plateau before getting the glider but once off you can only go so far before the game I believe kills you and sends you back.
Just created a new file and went to Ganon as soon as I could! OMG, that final boss fight is a lot harder when you haven't done all the divine beasts! Literally had to defeat all the forms before then doing the fight as normal with full health! Was a lot of fun and crazy with just 3 hearts! So much easier with all the champions gifts, full health and only 2 rounds with a weakened Ganon. But that was my 2nd biggest gripe with BoTw (1st, story, severely lacking for a Zelda game. I get why, but meh) but yeah, the final boss was so easy when you've done everything! Much more of a challenge like this đ
I'm having trouble getting my horse onto a raft. For some reason it never crossed my mind to try before. The first time I did try I got it onto the raft without any trouble but then I realised I never had a Korok Leaf,so I went and found one but when I got back to the raft my horse was no longer standing on it.Now every time I try it just refuses to go back onto it.I've tried turning the raft around, moving it completely onto land, moving it just into the water enough so the raft is flush with the ground but to no avail.Did I just get lucky the first time?
@erv Guess what? I actually got a horse to ride a metal door via stasis! Took it like a champ too! It didn't go very far, though, cuz I couldn't figure out how to hit the door without jumpslashing. I'm gonna continue my experiments, though, and in no time, I'll get a horse up to the Great Plateau!
EDIT: Got one on a stone slab! It hit a big rock, though.
