@Operative2-0 I also had trouble with that shrine. Just make sure you aren't too far away when killing enemies. I was so close to missing the blood moon for that shrine just cause I was trying to trigger it.

Build a camp fire and roast some bugs while waiting.

The blood moon cutscene is so melodramatic, seeing as it just means the monsters respawned. I was only worried about it when it first happened and I didn't know what was going on, lol.

@KirbyTheVampire I remember the first time I saw it. I was just like "Oh Cool! A Red Moon!" and I was just taking some selfies and screenshots. Then suddenly the creepy red particle effect kicks in as well as that terrifying music. I was just panicking, thinking "what is going on?!", "am I going to die?!", "are monster gonna spawn?!" and my personal favourite "Benny better not die!!!" (my horse) lol XD

Nice, haha. I was walking away from a stable and saw the particles, so I looked around and saw the sky going crazy, and I thought monsters were gonna spawn on me or something, but then you-know-who explained what it did, so I was a bit disappointed. I thought some big crazy thing was gonna happen.

I thought it was really pretty as first, as though the sun had come out to play during the night. Then music started, and the earth itself started spewing malice and I was absolutley terrified. I thought I'd made some horrible mistake and the game was punishing me for it.

Guys, I think I may have just broken my horse. It's currently standing upright on an entirely vertical surface with the majority of its body being underwater and it constantly trying to shake to dry off......

@Eric258 That was hilarious to read XD

So, I beat every enemy in the Coliseum. Now what? Is the myriad of elemental weaponry all that there is?

For my first Bloodmoon (if you didn't read my story earlier), I was halfway up a Ressurection Tower, and it respawned the guardian that I had killed so that it wouldn't snipe me off; I got sniped before reaching the top.

@Nicolaison Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's just the elemental weapons. I was disappointed because I kinda expected more

Also for anybody who has completed the Hyrule Compendium, is there a way to actually look at the photograph and is the photo meant to be of Purah?

@Eric258 That's a shame. An NPC named Dai said there was treasure inside! Usually when people say that, there's a shrine. The Lynel fight was fun, though.

120 Shrines done. All Great Fairies restored, 4 dungeons down, been inside Hyrule Castle briefly, got lost, left. Found a Korok. That was enough to tell me to stop.

Beat the Silver Lynel first try though. That was...easier than folk made it out to be.

I fought tooth and nail against the stupid white lynel. So satisfying to watch him explode into nothing

So after about 100 hours of adventuring,I had a wee look at that beginners guide from MyNintendo to see if there was anything in it I didn't know about .It taught me nothing I hadn't already figured out or noticed myself except for one thing, that any previously defeated enemy's level up after each blood moon.

This explains why the oldest kin Hinux gave me such trouble the 2nd time around.I defeated him fairly easy the first time but unknowingly put the orb in the wrong place.I then moved on to the middle kin,got that orb and after placing it in the correct place, realised my mistake with the first one.The orb had moved back over to where the Hinux was though.I thought I'll just go and defeat the youngest one first and then go back for it.After defeating him though,a blood moon rose and I had no option but to fight the eldest one again and what a fight he put up.Not sure how much more health they have the 2nd time around or how much extra damage they deal but man,he gave me some trouble.

Well, the Lynels are no Zinogres, but they are certainly made of some stern stuff. I can never refuse fighting one when i happen to spot them in the distance. So much fun....

But... Well, you may just have to accept the fact that you, like me, arent like other people. Youre kind of a bad@$$. You're a winner. Its just our cross to bear.

After running around forever I find it astounding that I am still discovering new stuff. I literally just found a new town yesterday, and I've put in what must be close to 70 hours now. And there's still entire regions that I've barely explored. I've maxed out my stamina wheel, and I've been trying to focus on upgrading my equipment/completing armor sets before taking on my last dungeon. It's fun trying to take on the tougher enemies and still getting my butt kicked.

I've got less than 40 shrines left, but I'm shocked that I have only found about half of the Korok seeds... There's so many things to do in this game. I don't think I'll have everything done by the time the DLC dungeon gets released at this rate.

Finally cracked and used NL's 'Shrine Location' guide to, err... locate the last 5 shrines. I've now done 119 and am leaving the last one until tomorrow. I'd assumed the ball in Impa's house was contingent on completing some larger part of the game in general, but it turns out everything necessary to access it can be done within Kakariko. That's tomorrow's task. My Compendium is pretty full, but I've missed out on snapping nearly all the cheeky Blighters from the Divine Beasts, so there's definitely going to be a bit of bargaining with the chap in the lighthouse for the last few photos. It shouldn't tax my finances too heavily though, as I've built up 30,000 rupees, and have a jewellery stash of nearing 100 rubies and sapphires, and I think over 40 diamonds (thanks Silver enemies).

I'm kind of looking forward to finishing it in a way. With any game I've really enjoyed, I feel I need to hit some sort of milestone in order to feel like I've done it justice. I was only really felt I'd 'cleaned my plate' with Splatoon when I got an S in it (S+ might take me another hundred years), and I think I feel the same about Breath, but with the shrines, compendium as the main markers.

Real life, or elements of it, have somewhat been put on hold for Zelda, and I should probably get around to answering them. Even other games, as well as books and the odd TV show, have been pretty much ignored for 'not being Breath of the Wild'. I was working through the Ace Attorney prequel before the Switch arrived, and I'd like to get back to that, and spend a bit more time with the poor, neglected 3DS that has been a faithful companion for so long.

It also means I'll be able to look more at other people's experiences of the game without risk of spoiling my own adventure. I've already started recently, and it's amazing all the little things people have discovered that had passed over my head. The bulk of Zelda's charm is in finding your own adventure within it, but when that's largely done and dusted, it's fascinating peeking into other people's worlds and see what they've uncovered. I watched the Making Of videos yesterday (after being too scared to watching them earlier) and I thought they were phenomenal. They're surprisingly candid and intimate, and really spell out what a labour of love the game was. There was a fair bit of gameplay I hadn't even realised was possible that I learned just from watching them. I'd recommend them to anyone who hasn't seen them.

@OorWullie That's really interesting. I noticed that they level up gradually over the course of the game, but it's interesting that that's how they do it. I guess that gives one a little incentive to try some of the areas they've already been to. Plus, I've only just figured out how to do some Korok Puzzles, so I've got some retreading to do.

@TNGYM Ive known for a long time that certain games just kind of break when I play them. I do a lot of stuff casually that people think is incredibly difficult, or insane.

-Mega Buster only Megaman runs (All series)
-Wrench only Ratchet and Clank on highest difficulties
-100% everything I touch

Thats just a few. I see why people think Id walk all over Dark Souls tbh.

Silver enemies aint nothing. Guardians aint nothing. Ill probably no damage the game soon honestly.

...actually that sounds fun.

@Nicolaison I wonder if there is a limit to how many times they can level up?I loved fighting that Hinox on Eventide Island, probably my favourite moment of the game so far.I might go back and fight him a few more times, see how tough he can become

You havent played souls yet? Honestly you might find it a bit too simplistic. Its strict... And demands good timing... But honestly past that, its combat is not very mentally engaging. Dragons dogma is far more engaging. I broke it at the beginning when i found a massive great sword in a pit full of skeletons that i guess were supposed to keep me away. Its super slow but super strong.... And i was like, okay game I play monster hunter, you done goofed.
