Topic: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

If it's truly the ultimate Smash, they better include a strong single player campaign.

But, to be more positive, the game looked absolutely stunning, having a clear visual improvement over the Wii U version, which was pretty gorgeous already. And every character? That's amazing

@Snaplocket I don't have to, I said it has a clear visual improvement over the Wii U version. Just the shadowing makes it evident, it looks very nice.

Welp, it's a port. I was very wrong and am very disappointed.

The game looks great nonetheless though. Day 1.

Whether I get this game or not depends on what modes are offered. I NEED something meaty single-player-wise.

I guess. Still looks very very similar to smash4 though.

I'm curious to hear about the single player content. That might differentiate it more.

The switch is not all that much more stronger than the wiiu. what can they do to make it look "new"

@Yosheel I guess different art direction. The Wii wasn't much more powerful than the GameCube, and look at how different Melee and Brawl looked.

This game actually looks very 'new' to me. It looks very sleek and much more refined than SSB4. Plus, I think it is a heck of a lot more stylistic. Just look at Zelda and Ganondorf's new designs. This ain't SSB4. This isn't SSB4 in any way, shape or form.

@LuigiTheGreenFire and they're already doing that. It didn't really look exactly the same as WiiU.

This game looks so beautiful. There's so much more detail and more life on every character. It's so good. I need this game like yesterday.

EVERYONE IS BACK! I wanted Wolf back so much, and he's finally back. Yes!

Just need Rex + Pyra in the game. Perhaps as DLC? Who knows?

Now one thing that I would really need to see is single-player. Smash 4's single-player was mediocre, and with the entire focus of development for one platform I hope there's effort put into the single-player. Smash 4 as a whole was really held-back by the 3DS.

So I'm curious to see what's going on with modes. They still haven't revealed a single mode outside of the normal multiplayer. Supposedly modes are going to be shown during the tournament somehow? But it's strange that we don't even know if classic mode is returning yet.

I totally thought they'd try to hype up an adventure/history mode but instead they went...

@Yosheel I thought the same thing. That was a bit underwhelming. I really hope they have some great modes to show.

Given we were already told there would be surprises later on, I figured E3 wasn't the time for single player.

@Yosheel With that and making the game faster in general and every character being in, I'm wondering if this was made mostly for melee fans
