Topic: Splatoon 3

Hey, even if no more Splatfests are planned for Splatoon 3 after Summer Nights, maybe they’ll add all Splatfest and Tricolor stages to private battles so we can access the maps at anytime + the option to let us choose ink colors from all Splatfests that have been held in Splatoon 3, in addition to the Splatfest Tee Replica and hopefully they can put another way of getting Super Sea Snails, like we get some whenever we level up, cuz I’ll be honest, Splatfests ending would mean we would no longer be able to gain anymore Super Sea Snails if we wanted to upgrade gear abilities, and even I think that would suck, so there has to be another way we can get them.

This Big Run has been nothing but constant disconnects (with many making me wait before I can join another match), some also coming as punishment for losing, I fell down from Profreshional +1 and likely won’t be able to get there again, and Idk what else to say

It’s as if the servers just hate me and try to disconnect me at any chance they get, even when I’m in the middle of a run 😭

@MrCarlos46 Is your connection wired? It was rock solid for me, not a single disconnect and I played a TON of games.

@MrCarlos46 That might be your issue. I highly recommend a wired connection if it's feasible for ya. Wifi is not the best for online gaming.

@vio The problem is the router isn’t in my room nor do I have PowerLine adapters

I really wanted the gold helicopter, but it wasn't going to happen playing solo. I hit 105 eggs so many times, it must be a reflection of the limit of bosses spawned for the hazard level or teams rank average. My teammates were usually quite green. The greenest I've seen since splatoon 3 launched. I guess good players stopped playing, or are pooled or discord'ing.

I forgot about Big Running, whoops! I have been visiting with family so in all honesty even if I had remembered I wouldn't have bothered. Limited time collectables can't match family time!

@WoomyNNYes Hmm. I got some really good players. Pulled a 140 eggs and got me the gold chopper. 😁

Right out of nowhere when it felt like Splatfests have ended for Splatoon 3, a Zombie vs. Skeleton vs. Ghost rerun was announced

It seems like there will be another year of seasonal Splatfest reruns then, which would end in the summer of 2026, close to the 4 year anniversary in that September. With Splatoon Raiders coming out in 2026, Splatoon 4 won't be coming out until at least 2027 at the earliest, so that is a way to tide over Splatoon players for another year I think. Hopefully the rest of the Splatoon 3 songs arrive on Nintendo Music at some point as well.

@ShieldHero I’d imagine it’s either another round of seasonal fests (although actual reruns this time) or they’re ‘bout to pull a Splatoon 2 which they do Splatoween line t month just so then all seasonal fests have distributed NSO icons and then preempt the FrostyFest slot in January to do a Mario fest in its place and end with that (later on adding all Splatfest/Tricolor maps to private battles (as well as ink colors of all Splatfests that happened) and putting another way of getting Super Sea Snails).

Another scenario would be no Mario fest this time around and it’s another round of seasonal fests or Splatoween is set to be the last one for the game and they end with that, we don’t really know.

I had a great 3-4 shifts in salmon run. My teammates had 1,300 hrs, 1,700 hrs, and 1,900 hrs in splatoon 3, and one of them had a a golden Salmon Run eggs banner that costs 333 gold scales in the SR store. It was amazing. I kept getting teams of newbs that avoid taking out lessers to the point where I was regularly getting mobbed and needlessly dying because of lessers being unchecked. And then all the sudden, a new team, and it was like a ray of sunshine playing with a full team of experienced players.🌈😆 Lessers were being managed, and we hit 143 eggs in one shift.

@WoomyNNYes It actually becomes a problem when you keep getting paired with people that don’t know what they’re doing, that may be part of why I kept falling out of Profreshional 😭

I didin't realize the kraken special could take out mud mouths on salmon run. And I'm not sure when I realized kraken can be used for flyfish. But lately I have been appreciating the kraken much more in SR.

Rachelskiiii coincidentally posted a video about kraken in SR a few days after I started getting better with recognizing when to use it.

@WoomyNNYes it's amazing! I think it has less utility than some other specials, but it's still multiple seconds of invincibility which is just crazy in any mode lol

Remember when I said it was unlikely the Splatoon 10th anniversary icon set would ever return after its first run?

@MrCarlos46 I think NSO icons usually make two appearances, as far as I've seen. The first time is free with NSO. Then the second time usually has a condition, like "play this game online" in order to unlock them. Although, I don't know if there's a consistent time frame for when the second appearance happens. Six months, or a year-ish?

@WoomyNNYes This one is just free with NSO like back in the first time.

I’m still waiting for them to update that section on playing a certain game a couple times to be able to get any icons you missed so they can add Splatoon 3 there. It was such a missed opportunity as there are still only 5 games there. It felt like Nintendo was about to let us have a way of catching up on any icons we missed, but they never touched upon it after 5 games and they rather make us wait for reruns that might not last long.
