Ok that dialogue HAS to be setting up Splatoon Raiders. You cant convince me otherwise!

In the German localisation Frye says she wants to go to a Boating School. She wants at least a "Pedal-Boat-Class A"(licence) 😂
Didn't remind me of an other yellow character at all! 👀

The Latin American Spanish translation wrote it as if she wants to be a ship captain…

Which reminds me, is that other yellow character ever getting their license for real anytime soon?

@MrCarlos46 i think splatoon raiders is too deep in development maybe though? im thinking maybe Past winning effected it, and this is part of deep cuts orgin story?
As for the splatfest, i completely forgot about it 💔 i think i might be team air tho, im a very impatient person. and i love big man!!! 😛

@OctolingKing13 Either way there probably won’t be anything else on Splatoon Raiders until the end of the year, and that also means it won’t release until some time next year.

Just like the other major Splatfests since Grand Fest, it's been revealed via the NSO section on the console that taking part in Summer Nights rewards you with NSO icons.

@Dev-N Outside of mirror matches all of my matches so far were against Team Land, and I lost every one of them.

I played again and it was mostly battles with Team Air, and I lost all but one 😭

Today I kept getting disconnected while playing Tricolor, once while a battle started and again after a battle ended before giving me my results, I ended up crashing out I think Imma stop playing the rest of the fest 😭😭😭

Doesn’t help I got 10-minute lockouts as a result of disconnection 😭😭😭

I have thought of getting into Splatoon. I enjoy competitive shooters but the absolutely insufferable a-holes I have to team with in Counter-Strike makes me completely fine with a simpler game. Anyway would anyone happen to be in the vicinity of Central-Northern Europe who can lmk how good the wifi is? I only have a Lite so can't use Ethernet. Also in competitive lobbies, are you penalized rank-wise for a connection drop? Thanks.

@Fiergala I've not had any issues playing over WiFi in the UK, but obviously it'll depend on your network. I think disconnecting gets you warnings and temporary bans, as MrCarlos46 mentions in the post above.

And Frye has been the one to break Big Man’s streak! She actually deserved this one.

If this truly is the last Splatfest for Splatoon 3, Frye ending off Big Man’s seasonal fest streak has been a banger! PROPS TO HER

I picked Sea but would've still been happy if Land won. It's nice that the Big Man win streak has finally been broken.

As for the future, maybe the Grand Fest venue presence in the 10.0.0 trailer could be a tease for Grand Fest re-run (with a different theme) to celebrate the game's 3rd anniversary?
