Topic: Splatoon 3

Everything multilayer related in Splatoon 3 is saved automatically on Nintendo's servers. It's impossible to delete.
Though it is possible in previous titles. (Because your progress is saved on your console)
I guess saving multilayer data on a server is a safety measure against manipulation (hacking).

It's nice that Splatoon 3 has cloud save backups unlike Splatoon 2. Even if it's just singleplayer related, the rest is stored server side so, no worries. But having all that campaign progress and gear and amiibos... that was one of my big gripes with Splatoon 2.

Though, I sent my Splatoon 3 Switch OLED off to get modchipped so I can overclock and do save backups on my microSD and all that jazz (not piracy- I literally own every game even remotely worth playing already, but it will be nice making backups of those games to store on an SSD for preservation). Will be nice backing up Splatoon 3 save data to microSD.

@IceDomino To share pics, you have to paste a link. Pics and clips have to be hosted somewhere. I and others use postimages.org to host pics.

If you want the pic to be displayed in your post, you'll have to use the [ img ] tags. To see how I did it, you can hit the Quote button on my post to reveal how the img tags were implemented.

Maybe today I'll try to grab a screenshot of my current gear setup and share it.

@IceDomino I've gotten tired of my usual main setup. This is what I'm usually using lately. I'm not married to it, though. For the Clothes part, I keep bouncing between Fuzzly Sweater and Steel Platemail (the knight's armor from amiibo).

Since halloween & the holidays, I've gotten so many new favorite gear pieces that I haven't had enough ability chunks to fully customize all 6-8 pieces of new gear yet.

Anyone here know the reward for wandecrust 4?

I don’t see the point of watching the winners of the opposite team when I lose. Isn’t that just rubbing it in my face?

@IceDomino Press X to open the map on the victory screen or press the home button for a moment, it’s what I do. For me it definitely helps after losing streaks in S rank

@IceDomino If you do any of those you can still see the results screen afterwards or if you open your battle replays

Ohhh, maybe journeys 3 & 4 are still hidden for you while you're working on journey 2. Forgive me if that's the case. I completed Wandercrust 3 Last spring or summer. So, when Journey 4 was added in December, the gear was viewable day 1, for me.

@luckyseven Wait, you can do that? I actually didn't know that, it sounds like it would be helpful to see what I could have done better.

@MarioLover92 Yeah, for me I use it so I don’t have to look at the opposite team since it kind of stings having to do so. I think it’s more useful in Turf rather than in Anarchy since in Turf you can see how much your team inked rather than in Anarchy since that focuses on a single objective

Fun fact: I've never done Anarchy.
