Topic: Splatoon 3

Since water was 1st at half time, I cross fingers that we are still able to win this! 🤞
From what I can tell water got the most votes. With the conch shell points, we got at least 20 points. So... One of the other teams have to win both Open and Pro to beat us... If we got the votes!
This is just for fun btw. It doesn't really matter in the end.

Yesterday my games weren't the best. 50/50 win/loss... But today I won a x10 and x100; All of my 5 Tri-Color battles and a lot of normal matches, with maybe 3 losses. It's like I played with very different people compared to yesterday.

Ended my Splatfest run with about 175k Clout in Open. I got a lot of Tri-Colour and 10x matches (some won, most lost) and had some brilliant moments here and there (THE BAMBOOZLER PROPAGANDA IS REAL!) so I'm overall pretty happy with my tally. I've had my issues with this Splatfest but at the end of the day, it's like @Budda said: this is all just for fun and I've certainly had that in fair share these past two days!

That being said, if Grass wins, this game is dead to me

I picked team grass, because I like the shirt color. Played till Ruler rank. So, 21 sea snails is nice. Also, I played the heck out of salmon run this weekend. Salmon run continues to be my most played mode. (Until maybe we get some new turf war maps, weapons kits.)

Landed a capsule with 10 chunks for every ability before the end of splatfest.(second time I've gotten it)

Just ordered the new splatoon 3 amiibo cards. (the 3 piece set) Tonight was the first time I've seen someone with the new amiibo gear in-game. Soon I will have said gear. (I'd buy the dlc if it was available, but it's not. I have no need for the figures. If this breaks the rules, I'll remove the link.)

Congratulations Team Water. I was on Fire, and... we were extinguished. I suppose the mantra of "don't pick the superficially cool (or in this case, hot) option that appeals to children" applies here too. It seems we were a little hot-headed.

If anyone wants to relive the Splatfest musically, the extended live version of the main festival theme is fantastic:

Nintendo Live was over a month ago now, but I don't remember there being that much of a fuss made about it compared to previous shows, which seems like a shame. Seeing Splatoon music performed by an actual band is pretty cool (even if part of me suspects it was pre-recorded).

Didn't get any time to play the Splatfest which was a shame. While I was on team Fire, it's cool that Water showed that Tricolor defense isn't a guaranteed loss for the overall Splatfest.

Looking forward to finally having a wider variety of maps and weapons as I've gotten a bit burnt out now on the launch content. Still need to figure out a second weapon I want to use but none of the launch sets really jump out to me. And with a wider variety of maps, hopefully I won't be stuck playing on Undertow Spillway basically every time I go to play like it's been for me lately.

Okay so both of the maps shown off look fantastic. The Japanese-themed one looks to have a very interesting layout, and the second one shown is one of my favorites from Splatoon 1.

That semi-automatic charger looks awesome as well; it’s a great idea and I will absolutely have to check it out.
