@StarPoint Oh, you're right about Salmon Run being the worst/slowest way to rank up the catalog. I'll delete my comment above. Although, later in the video(8:47), he says the most time efficient way to earn xp is via Turf War. Anarchy is only faster if you usually win (paraphrasing).
I pasted the video to play a the 8:47 time stamp. @Fizza
Double Splatling Hell in Salmon Run at the moment. Had two Rush waves in one run to add insult to injury.
I'm nearly at Eggsecutive VP and still have only managed to clear the Rush wave once. Even at this rank people still don't seem to want to group up, as soon as someone panics people scatter and it just becomes an instant loss.
@WoomyNNYes In Eggsecutive VP I'd say that I get at least one silver scale a majority of the time, sometimes as many as four. Gold scales on the other hand, I can go weeks without seeing one.
In the past two weeks, if I get to Eggsecutive, then I just get spammed with teammates that don't lure, can't make quotas, or ignore flyfish, stingers, drizzlers (or don't shoot down drizzler missiles). It's quite frequent that flyfish, stingers, drizzlers get so over-saturated that you can't even get around with 2-3 of the weapons. It's so unfun, and I have to demote myself to Pro 2 if I want to have some chance at getting to cohozuna. (Not to blame eveyone else, I'm always looking to improve myself)
What's the meta with flyfish in Splatoon 3? Is it still good to cripple a flyfish rather than take them out?
@Cynas The hardest thing with the Rush waves in Splatoon 3 is getting enough eggs into the basket to reach quota, especially higher up in Eggsecutive VP where the quota starts getting really high. Just surviving on its own usually isn't too bad but it's pretty tricky to consistently throw eggs to the basket with how much ink it uses and you often need to risk swimming out to gather eggs and take them to the basket which is when things can go horribly wrong.
@WoomyNNYes I dunno about what's considered meta but I generally just take them out if there's not too much else to focus on. When things start getting really crazy though I might just cripple and focus on more pressing matters.
@WoomyNNYes@StarPoint I get real mad when I constantly get matched up with teammates that don't Booyah back but also don't play well either. Like at least give me one or the other. It's probably a good thing that they can't hear me, haha.
How many Brain Strainers do I have to win in Salmon Run to get one with Ink Saver Sub?🤔🤣 ...At least 6 or 7 so far. .....Still plugging away. Still waiting for it.

Oh god. I've gotten at least 20-30 Brain Strainers so far? Still no Ink Saver Sub. I've gotten duplicates and a triplicate of Brain Strainers with abilities I never want. It's insane.
@StarPoint@BenAV I just realized, I assumed "booyah back" was always about teammates hitting booyah to help launch your Booyah Bomb special faster. Is that what "booyah back" is about? Or is it just replying "Booyah" back to teammates that say booyah with Dpad quick chat?
Been messing with weapon builds on sendou.ink lately and came up with one that I really like for Mini Splatling and was wondering if you guys could provide some feedback before I potentially go through with it:
I've seen a lot of Mini's run Comeback lately both on sendou and in-game and it really meshes with Mini's 'get in, get out' style of fighting so I've tried to maximise the efficiency with it by running two subs of both QSJ and QRS to get back into the thick of things well. Other than that, I've stuck on the Splatling regular of RSU with a bit of IRU alongside Ninja Squid with SSU (yes I'm aware this is a lot of acronyms). Ninja Squid is probably the only thing I'm heavily debating right now since I'm wondering whether or not I get rid of it in exchange for Stealth Jump. If there's any Splatling experts here, let me know your thoughts!

@WoomyNNYes What StarPoint said. I usually Booyah at the start of the match and I expect my teammates to respond.
I don't Booyah when my teammates are using Booyah Bombs like half the time because it's too hard to press the dpad mid-combat, as much as I'd like the special charge from it.
Oh, I finally landed enough silver scales for the Pink Slopsuit in Salmon Run. Now I guess it's the grind for the 100 silver scales for a black or white slopsuit. I think I lean toward wanting the black.
PLAYER WHO GOT PINK SLOPSUIT be like:
@Grumblevolcano Yeah, that new Splatoon video on Nintendo's youtube got my hopes up too, when I first saw it.
Fun fact, if you get a comm error during a match in a series, the progress in the series you entered will reset! Just had my final rank up battle have a comm error at the end, meaning I have to level up to the rank battle again
@TheEnglishOtter Are you sure you weren't just on two losses already? A comm error counts as a loss but it doesn't wipe the whole series out. I've had it happen plenty of times.
