The difficulty didn't seem to go any lower even once I dropped back to Overachiever which wasn't this hard last time I played. I lost more games in this session than I had lost in total before I started.
Just an FYI: Once you've been Profreshional, at some point you won't be able to demote yourself lower than Profreshional Part-timer.
I mainly got better because I watched Salmon Run tips videos on youtube. And, I think I'd read a reddit page about priorizing salmond bosses. I'd say the Splatoon 2 Salmon Run videos are still relevant. More recently, I've watched youtuber, CheWoomy (a german girl), play Eggsecutive VP level.

Fixed an issue in Rainmaker that caused the player who placed the Rainmaker on a checkpoint to appear motionless to other players.
Fixed an issue in Rainmaker where the goal distance count would go to 1 even when the Rainmaker had not reached the goal.
Fixed an issue where, if you got on an inkrail while using the Inkjet or Zipcaster, allies Super Jumping towards you would land at the start point of the inkrail instead of the intended location.

Wow, this shift with random Grizzco weapons is EASY MODE!! (95+% of the time) Booyah! I've still managed to get a couple failed runs, but I mostly finish all three waves right now in Profreshional 2. I'm scared to go higher, and I want easier cohozuna, if there's any logic to that.

As soon as I opened my mouth.... Even with the great weapons, I'm getting worse teammates, and we can't get enough eggs to the basket, because nobody is luring bosses to the basket, or knows enough. 😞😢😢 I'll never get cohozuna. It's been 5 runs now with full cohosuna metter, and we can't finish three waves. I imagine this sort of team matching bs will sabotage any chance of getting cohozuna this weekend. I wish that was hyperbole, but that's what happened last weekend. I couldn't stand losing anymore after a 13 run losing streak. How has Nintendo not fixed or tweaked this matching system.😞😞😞😢
@BenAV All Nozzlenose weapons, LOL. Amazing/awful (because I don't like having to keep hitting the fire button).
@WoomyNNYes I played like an hour or so longer than I wanted to just trying to get that last Xtra Wave before stopping which is how it often ends up being if I'm playing too late to the time of the night where all the idiots log on, haha. Lost like eight shifts in a row and then had three wins without getting an Xtra wave. Ended up being 18 shifts between Cohozuna fights.
The new gear loadout is a lot of fun but I have gotten a ridiculous amount of connection issues. One game had a communication error right before we were about to win. I played about 15 matches, and about 5 of those had disconnected teammates. Of course, one teammate disconnected right before a Chohozuna fight, so I lost yet another one and the cycle reset.

My luck with teams got better. I ended up getting cohozuna three times, never beat it, though. Only one of those times yielded a silver scale. Pretty weak. I was really hoping to get a few silver scales, so I could chip away at the 30 needed for the pink slopsuit. I currently have 14 silver scales.

It's mad: before 3's release, I basically stuck with my player character from single-player and that was that. Now that 3's come out though? I'm making up backstories, trying to tweak designs as much as possible, all that good stuff. And you know what the worst thing is? I'm getting attached to them.
Here's a rough idea of what I'm trying to make them look like (based off of a site called neka.cc):
I won't give much away for now on what I'm planning their stories to be but here's a clue: I really liked Generator Rex growing up.
(oh and don't take the doom and gloom stuff I say in this seriously: I'm really enjoying coming up with ideas for these two gremlins!)
I've just spent the entirety of today writing out stories for them. I cannot believe this is happening. This series has a goddamn stranglehold on me I swear.

Glad that I don't need gold for the foreseeable future. Maybe they add stuff that needs gold scales that I want.
I just reached catalog level 105. I've seen at least two emotes I haven't gotten yet. Do they come from later catalog levels, or are they shellout machine prizes? Just curious. One looks like a kung fu stance, the other ends with a thumbs up, I believe.
@WoomyNNYes There are no extra rewards past the first catalog. Just crappy mystery boxes every ten levels forever.
Pretty sure the only emotes at the moment are the catalog ones and the Card Shark one for reaching level 30 in Tableturf (plus the default ones for each weapon type).
