But don’t you want to know all about that amber jewel you found for the 50th time?
I estimate a 91.2% chance that hearing about the amber jewel for the 50th time will cause multiple Switches to break apart as they are hurled at the wall.
...seriously - I hope they address this. It is a major issue with the original game - especially if you play across many short sessions.
Do you guys think, Nintendo has Windwaker HD and Twilight Princess HD in the drawer, but wants to wait until SS HD is released, because they know that these other Zelda titles are much more popular and less people would buy SS HD, if they had the choice to buy these other games instead?
In other words: Do you think that WW HD and TP HD will release only after SS HD has sold enough for Nintendo? Maybe September / October 2021?
@skywake Wii Motion Plus didn't actually use the sensor bar (which was ironically just a light source), or the IR camera on the Wii Remote. It relied entirely on the gyro in the Plus adapter, or the Remote Plus. You could tape off the IR camera and hide the sensor bar and the games would still play the same.
@1ofUs
I could imagine they would bundle WW and TP into one HD collection.
If they also added the remakes of OoT and MM from the 3DS, I would be very happy!

Hmm, is this right?
Does that mean if you use the Motion Plus then you don't need the sensor bar attached at all? Is that backwards compatible (meaning does it work for regular wiimote games)?
Thats very possible. If they do TP HD, it better not cost $60
If they're doing Skyward Sword for $60, of course they're gonna do Twilight Princess HD for the same. That actually had more time and energy put into it. They redid most of the textures for that game.
I never bought any Zelda games until 2019 so have not played Skyward Sword, I'm pleased its releasing on the Switch. Is this a good Zelda game? I have pre ordered it already. I'd like to get the accompanying Joy Cons too, when are they available?
@Sugarkist It's probably the most criticized and worst selling 3D Zelda and fans of BOTW may struggle with it as it's very different. However it's probably the best "story" out of all of them, has a lovely painting style art and has some great dungeons in it.

Thanks for this. I may watch some play throughs on YouTube so I can judge if I will like it. £50 is a lot of money for a port I guess but if its something I'll enjoy then I will pay that. I'm really hoping they will release other Zelda games like they did for Mario's anniversary, as all of them will be first play's for me
Well yeah, that's the fair comparison given that you're comparing to the single release of Skyward Sword. If you're gonna include the 3DS version of Majora, you should wait and compare it to the Switch release of Skyward Sword, that way they both have 2 different platform versions.
I'm pretty sure Skyward Sword will end up on top. It would only need to sell about 3 million on Switch, which I'm pretty sure it will.
For me, both SS and TP has the same issue: big spaces with nothing to do. I've not played TPHD so don't know if they compressed the map, but Hyrule was a big empty place the first and second time round.
