Topic: Pokémon Scarlet & Pokémon Violet

Pokemon now has real school. I DON'T SPEAKETH THE FRENCH

Took care of a few evolutions there today, here are my thoughts on them:

• Smoliv:
  I've only made it to Dolliv so far but by god Steenee might just have competition for the cutest mid-stage Grass mon. Dolliv is lovely and I'm very excited for what it'll eventually turn into!
• Wiglett:
  By god: they actually made Wugtrio. And you know what's even more insane? IT'S FANTASTIC (also holy s*** that dex entry 0_0).
• Fidough:
  I've made no secret here that Fidough is one of my personal favourites from Gen 9 and something I had been praying for ever since it's reveal was that it's evolution would turn it from dough to a baked bun. [em]I think it's fair to say my prayers have been more than sufficiently answered with Dachsbun*
  Capsakid:
  IT TOOK THEM OVER 25 YEARS BUT GRASS/FIRE IS REEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL! And it just so happens to be wrapped up in one of the most interesting mons I think I've ever seen and certainly not what I expected the tiny pepper runt to evolve into. Will say though: the fact that this thing gets Moody as a HA terrifies me.

This'll probably be my last progress post for a few days now that schoolwork's starting again but rest assured: I WILL be back for more.

Finally beat the cheating Elite Four and now am facing the Champ. Go to the last pokemon on first try but... man that last one. I feel like I am being made fun of.

Is food actually useful? There are a million expensive restaurants everywhere but so far I got some ice cream and then ignored them all. Does eating multiple things even help?

On a different topic, wow did I go the 'wrong' way XD I feel like I've never had a pokemon who would rather die than obey me before; most games kind of force you to have enough badges so they obey you. Even in battles which would be easy it would rather sit and die. Time to get another gym badge I guess. Pretty sure I accidentally skipped a couple easy gyms.

Yet another topic but I've fallen in love with my third evolution cat starter pokemon. Cuter than I thought it would be and I hadn't realized what the second element would be.

@FishyS Waiting until Nemona evolves her own one before looking at it myself but if it's anything as good as Floragato then I think I'll be singing a very similar tune myself!

Wonder why Nemona is called Nemila in germany, its not like german kids cant say Nemona as well.

Another status report... just beat the champ and all the final bosses of each story path. Now of to post game content! My team contains no spoilers as its all old Pokemon: Leafeon, Dragonite, Sylveon, Talonflame, Heracross and that fish thats Water/Psycho typing, I replaced my water starter with him as I couldnt bare to look at that stupid dance animation nonstop.

All in all I have to say the ending part of the game is really well done, I wish the 30 hours leading up to it were anywhere close that good.

Did you experience with fps drop or something glitchy during playing?

@Anti-Matter Yeah of course, I think its laggy and glitchy for all of us. FPS dropped all the time, but I played Ocarina of Time PAL at 16fps and also enjoyed Deadly Premonition 2 at 10-15 fps so I am a bit resistant to it, although Pokemon wasnt anywhere near that bad. Glitches I mostly had with the camera only, like it zooming below the ground textures letting me see below the ground textures as well as getting stuck at a mountain area once where I had to reload. It was bad, but not painful.

I loathe the experience share!

Honestly scouting the terrible soulless open world is only half the game. Once you unlock everything the game is finally good. Lots of story, lots of charme, lots of love. Not sure why they couldnt give a fk about the first half of the game lol

Thinking about restarting with the grass type before I finish up on endgame content. Love the final evo, typing is also very intriguing.

I’ve just caught my first shiny of the game. It’s a lechonk which now happens to be the same colour as bacon, that’s so cute.

I am wondering why they always rename characters in different language versions. I mean Arven is called Pepper in germany. Why? Its not like Pepper is a german word or easier to pronounce. I dont get it.
