@NintendoByNature I finished it in something between 30 to 40 hours. But I don't tried find all invisible blocks or find each toad. I found hundreds of toads, sure, but are even more. I fixed most of world, but let some unfixed too.
I skipped a certain optional (and tough)sequence of enemies too (better not talk about it to avoid spoilers). And I don't tried sudden death.
EDIT: I found 71 from the 120 treasures and dont get any of the trophies.(treasures are inside chests or blocks)
Streamers yellow and purple are the ones you will spend more time very probably. Are a lot to explore.

No time limit would break the game. If you just think about it for a sec and follow it through logically, you’ll see the problems it would create. No limit means every puzzle gets solved every single time. Which means no battles ever actually take place, aside from when you use base level weapons against enemies that require two hits, which you can always use a better weapon on. It would also mean the actual battling portion would be pointless since it would never actually result in battling. It would basically just be a question of how much time is wasted solving the puzzle, which ultimately does get solved every single time without fail. Which would also result in spending ungodly amounts of time in some cases, which would make it tiresome. The entire crux of the system hinges on the assumption you won’t be able to solve perfectly every time. The system depends on you not being able to solve all the puzzles. And with unlimited time, everything can be solved.
But, if you want more time, you can buy all the time you want (provided you have the coin). You don’t have to ask the Toads for help, just hold + to add all the time you want. There’s also an accessory that automatically spends coin to add time if it runs out, and you can adjust the limit you want to spend on Time Extender in the settings (like, 100 coin cap, for example). You can also screenshot the ring and study it in the picture album. You’ll have to think like chess, envisioning moves ahead, but that’s a good counter balance for the fact you have all the time in the world to study it. I wouldn’t recommend that except for boss fights, though.

Played some Paper Mario on the Lite, and... wow. HD Rumble is such an integral part of the experience, it’s nearly unplayable without it! Your Toad sensor and Treasure Sensor don’t work because there’s no rumble, and that’s half the game!
Also, the HD rumble feedback for everything, from hopping enemies’ heads in the ring to slamming your hammer, to the faint tap of landing after a jump, to the vibrant rumbling of a ship’s motor... is such a core part of the experience that when it’s missing, you REALLY notice it’s absence. The game feels so dry without it. Because I’ve become so accustomed to feeling it for everything I do in the game.
I think it’s safe to say Paper Mario The Origami King is the best use of HD rumble of any game to date. One last PSA: if you haven’t changed the rumble settings to HIGH yet, do it asap! You don’t know what you’re missing!
@MarioLover92 Good to hear/read! The environments and writing were redeeming qualities for me in Color Splash and were part of the reason why I actually played it to the end. Glad to know that it retains those qualities. Sounds like the music is better too.
Not sure how I'll feel about the ring mechanic, though I do like puzzles. I'm just glad that one-time-use attacks seem to be out of the running. It's rare that a game's battle system had me actively fleeing encounters just to conserve my cards. XD

@Tyranexx Yeah totally - admittedly it's been a long time since I played Sticker Star, but I don't recall getting much coins after finishing battles, unless you get no damage. And you're spending stickers on top of it.
Here in Origami King, although there's no star points and leveling up, you do get a healthy amount of coins for winning, and even more for things like no damage and good enemy lining.

AKA MarioVillager92. Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I want to get to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
I fought the rubber band man last night. It was really tough and awkward lol. I dont want to spoil with strategies, but I knew what to do, I just couldn't get to the spot I needed to. Took me two tries and both were lengthy. First time in the game I've struggled. Hopefully the rest aren't as tough. I will say the motion sections of that fight were so awesome.
I've found plenty Toads on the Lite too, but that's because of the alarm bell. The ones hidden in grass where you cant find without the sensor, or tougher ones where I felt I needed the sensor because I couldnt find, I was completely dumbfounded what to do. And treasure dont have the alarm. I thought it would make sounds instead but it didnt, so it seemed they didnt take the Lite into account. But if it has visual cues then it's fine. I just didnt notice.
So, I'm pretty far now. And I'm at a point I've run out of coins twice now, and couldn't purchase all the accessories I wanted, or the collectible for sale for like $12k (thats after a 30% discount!) Battles are also getting way tougher, having to use better items which cost more. And I've started running out of confetti in places where I needed to fill holes, and was desperately looking for battles to replenish the bag.
Now I'm starting to grind battles a bit to get my coin pouch in good standing again. I find it a perfect balance where, sometimes you need to do a smidge of grinding but, not constantly like a grind-heavy RPG. I'm free to skip what I want when I'm not broke.
@JaxonH The little sensor you get from the toad in a lab that flashes and buzzes the closer you get to a toad, right? I'm fairly certain the brightness of the flash and the physical deformation of the device itself when it's flashing become a good deal more pronounced when it's aiming in the direction of a toad during its spin. If you near a toad, sit the joycons down, watch the spin, and note the direction it's facing when reacting.
And, of course, it goes nuts when you're up close to the toad.

I'm at Shogun Studios and I've already gotten a Game Over a few times. The first one was getting hit by that rolling rock in the Earth Vellumental temple, the second time was a loss against the boss from that same temple, the third was when I lost against the Water Vellumental in the second temple, four and five were caused by losing all five hearts in the boat steering mini game. I'm still enjoying this game, though
