Well they now have a message saying phone lines are closed for training until 3pm... at 5pm.
I've put an order in to Tesco to grab one tomorrow. I'll email the Nintendo Store asking for a refund and they can chase up where the switch is since I physically can't without the right info 😂
Managed to get a midnight copy at best buy, they had a whole bunch of switches for non pre orders. And the second came early today with Zelda. So we're all set. I'll be sticking with best buy in the future, they had ample amounts of all consoles and accessories
I wouldn't want to be on Nintendo UK's helpline team right now.
Still hasn't arrived here though I hear Amazon Logistics can deliver up to 9pm so we'll see.
It annoys me seeing online 'celebrities' who receive free Switches when there are folks who pre-ordered back in January still not getting them until who knows when.
Well I have been waiting a further 50 mins on call to Nintendo they have finally said they are closing lines due to high number of calls and are keeping those who are waiting and then I got cut off. So I'm not sure what I was doing for the last 50 minutes cause apparently I was not waiting. I literally give the hell up!
I gave up waiting went to game, on my way back from work and picked the switch up from there instead, still don't know where my original order is but I do know it now going back!! Can't believe how poor the service has been today I will definitely be putting in a complaint with Nintendo uk
Still no sign of anything here. Was repeatedly told is was being sent by courier then today they dropped the bomb that actually is was Royal Mail but next day delivery. Was told it would be here by 6pm it's now 6.40pm. And they wouldn't even give me the updated tracking number so I can't call Royal Mail and ask if they have any info. Besides both Nintendo and Royal Mail lines are now closed anyway.
Sent them an email explaining how unhappy I am to not receive it for launch, be repeatedly lied too and have wasted a day's holiday. Hopefully it'll arrive tomorrow and I'll get some compensation.
I have been a Nintendo fan for 20 years and I am shocked at how poorly I have been treated and let down.
No "guarunteed" or expedited delivery option at checkout. I placed my order in January with the official store because stock was "limited" with GAME and Amazon. I regret everything.
I was promised by their staff members that I would recieve my order today. When I questioned "estimated dispatch date 3rd March", they said it was the same as delivery date...
Like other people, I was cut-off when they turned off their phone lines at 6pm, and they haven't replied to my messages since 28th February. I tried my best contacting the courier, Royal Mail who confirmed that they had recieved my parcels, but could not tell me a delivery window or delivery date as the SENDER had not chosen the correct delivery method.
The weirder thing is, I ordered bomberman r from Amazon.co.uk, chose guarunteed delivery for today and I did not recieve that either. They both are being delivered by Royal Mail and went via the same building "north West distribution Center". Furthermore... both my orders status is "Sales Order Raised". Working in an accounts payable role, this indicates that both Nintendo and Amazon have not paid for the delivery :S
I am soo angry as I am writing this, that I have put my dinner on the wrong cooking hob. My suffering continues....

Just got my Royal Mail Tracking Status update

Status: We have been notified that your item is being shipped by the retailer; the next scan will appear when we receive this item into our network.
I seem to be in the same boat as a lot of you. I was promised by Nintendo via email that I would get the console today, next thing I know it was dispatched (this was around 7pm last night) however the tracking wasn't working but didn't think anything of it at the time.
Royal mail turned up this morning but with no console in hand, so I spoke to Nintendo and I was fobbed off with talk of it still turning up later today and it never did.
I decided to get in touch with royal mail and see if they could give me some information if I gave them my tracking number, miraculously while I was chatting to the guy I refreshed my royal mail tracking page and believe it or not it found my tracking number. The annoying thing is though, according to the tracking, it was only given over to them at 18:21 this evening and is sitting in their north west distribution centre, no chance of it turning up today then...
The situation is frustrating at best, if only they had been honest..
Now i just checked again and at 19:02 they have just marked it as pre advice received. Something funny is going on here.
