@Thebeanburger
Cannot agree more thought the best way to guarantee getting it on release date would be to get it direct from nintendo .... How wrong that assumption was...

That's what happens when companies outsource and have no control. Looks like The Hut weren't ready for the launch, or had the man power available to get them all out for today. Poor really

It looks like the best way to get it delivered was to not order from Nintendo. That's pretty pathetic

Yep, ridiculous.

Mine was dispatched last night but has yet to arrive, still. Apparently left the city over from me at 10:30 this morning so what with the delivery rounds I'm gonna guess it'll turn up either later afternoon or evening.

ive just had a chat with Royal Mail and apprently Nintendo pooped up. Half were sent out Hermes and half them, however they bulk updated the delivery info with Royal Mail tracking numbers.

Call Nintentdo for an updated tracking ref.

Here in Norway it's a complete mess with Posten, so no one is getting their pre-orders delivered until monday!
So no Switch for me this weekend

Bloody hell Hermes?! Never see the damn thing then, usually their "delivery" involves non existent 'sorry we missed you' cards and endless phone calls to the depots.

Also if Nintendo messed up they should be contacting me, not waiting for me to phone to get the right tracking information.

Tesco next day store pickup and an email to the UK store to refund my money it is then. Disappointing.

Just received an email from Nintendo saying "Nintendo Switch and The Legend of Zelda:Breath of Wild are launching this week!"
Just had to reply back to that email saying thanks for rubbing it in my face that I don't have these even though I pre-ordered from their own site.
Just pure shambles,

Still have not received a message from the UK Store about my order. FOR FECK SAKE!

It seems the most reliable way of getting a Switch in the UK was preordering at a physical GAME store which seems to be the option most of the Nintendo Life staff went for.

Well, it looks like DPD have messed up my delivery. Even though I have been told by dpd that they may have lost it, told by ShopTo to hang on in there, give it a chance, they have now emailed me to say dpd have been in touch and that there is a delay and it's going to be Monday now. I took the afternoon off especially as well.
