Charge Blade is 🔥

Heck, I'd say Charge Blade, Switch Axe, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hunting Horn, Insect Glaive, Dual Blades... you know what? All of them. All of them are better than they've ever been in Sunbreak. Great in Rise also, but Sunbreak changes just take them to another level

How fast does HR increase once you unlock 7 star hub?

Pretty fast. Depending how many Quests you've done, you'll jump to like HR15 when you unlock the cap.

I got to HR20 immediately, then HR40, then HR60, and before you know it, HR100. I did every quest in the game, and I'm at HR230.

Found out towards the end of reaching 100 that Rampages are the best way to get to that point. lol

Most efficient but also by far the most tedious.

...Ugh, is anyone else having choppy captures when saving clips in Rise or the Sunbreak demo? It never happened until the recent couple of months. :/

It's really annoying.

@Joeynator3000 I'm dreading next week's update that'll increase the game's file size by about 110%. The game's gonna be like 23 GB, which is not great for those of us who have less than half a terabyte Micro SD card. 😱

Mine is 256 GB so Rise will now take-up nearly 10% of my Micro SD card's maximum capacity. 😵

I don't know WHY I'm doing this, but I've been lurking and talking here and there around Rise's Steam forum. (yeah I know, lol) Everyone seems to 100% believe that a leaked list is the final monster roster for SB...and the list basically just give us what we already saw in the trailers, plus final boss and a couple of unannounced monsters (....variants).

Do you guys think this is really it? Because I know very well that expansions have always had much more, especially with the subspecies, but apparently according to Steam, the new subs that we know about are the only ones?...I HIGHLY doubt that.

How did title updates for IB go anyways? Was it the same thing, only a handful of subspecies for base game? (the new ones back then of course) With everything else being released later or something?

...Or is that really it and it'll be the crappiest expansion ever or something? lol

Also, aside from a good chunk of returning subspecies...I'm pretty sure we should be getting Zamtrios, Tetsucabra, and even Gravios back as well. Even they all have subspecies, too.

People rely on leaks too much, lol

Should we be worried that this comes out in like 24 hours and the embargo ain't lifted?

Also, I wasn't sure how much I was gonna make use of the new Skill Swap thing, but honestly, going back and using the Hunting Horn in Rise, I sorta forgot like how important the Slide Beat is within your arsenal. My original idea was to have like a more offensive and a more supportive set of skills to give each scroll a role, but I might have to just run the same stuff on each scroll, bar the Slide Beat/Shockwave. Meaning I can use the Beat to close, position, keep the pressure on etc and then Switch to wreck ***** up with Shockwave when I am up close.

I was NOT expecting another Sunbreak trailer in this direct so soon after the one on the Capcom showcase. The music is incredible, and Shagaru was expected but nice nonetheless.

I'm pretty lukewarm about Seething, though. I could barely even tell the difference between normal Bazel and Seething in World, aside from glowy purple explosions and, I guess, more or slightly different explosion patterns?

I hope they make it more interesting to fight in Rise.

Seething was just less random and annoying for me, I liked it more than the normal Bazel. Rise's Bazel is actually more like IB's Seething so I'm wondering what they'll do here.

Honestly, Rise made most fights more enjoyable for me so I have high hopes with Bazel. Well, Teostra might be the exception. It may be just me, but I feel it much more annoying in Rise.

I just want harder monsters so Seething Bazel, Furious Rajang, Scorned Magnamalo, etc fit that bill nicely.

I'm dying to see the new weapons and armor pieces haha. It always feels nice to make an even stronger build. Oh, and the 3 new monsters look fantastic, I can't wait to see them in action. I didn't play the demo so everything will be pretty new.

Also, I missed Gore!

...I'm just wondering which subspecies will return via the title update...I want Sand Barioth to return, but also Stygian just because I like his equipment. lol

@Joeynator3000 Sand Barioth would be great! I think he hasn't appeared in a game since... 3 Ultimate? Not counting the spin offs like MH Stories. Stygian would be cool too but at least he was in 4U. I'm down for any monster lol.

Yeah Sand Barioth never returned after 3U, I mean, we got the Sandy Plains back. lol

As for Stygian, he did return in IB, he was...alright...but the pin attacks in that game not being able to block any of them EVEN WITH GUARD-UP was ruining the experience for me. Furious was much worse because of this, too. I'm curious about Furious in SB now, since Rise fixed that issue in general.

Also, Furious crackling his knuckles in IB, that was like both a love and hate thing for me. I hope they keep that in...xD

I should have never doubted Sunbreak. I was nervous with the review embargo lifting like within 24 hours of the release, as that is usually a bad sign. However, it is currently sat at a 90 on PC, making it one of the highest rated games of the year. Now I can just let go and launch into full hype frenzy.
