@Pizzamorg My guess is the PC version will release in the spring, and they'll hit the ground running with the launch version already at 3.0 or something. That way, the Sunbreak expansion releases simultaneously for both platforms.
My big dream however is cross play, which I really hope happens. PC players will be naturally more chatty with keyboards handy than Switch players.
If it does release on PC at the same time, then excellent. I just know everything was always behind on PC with World. Don't see why that will change with Rise, given they are waiting a year to release it on PC.
I thought that the PC version was going to release in Summer of next year.
Yeah, it says Switch and PC Summer 2022. The point I am making is that Iceborne was released four months later on PC versus console. You could have four months between the two releases on Switch and PC and they could still both fall into the Summer 2022 window. I'm just not getting my hopes up they release on the same date.
I figured they'd do something like Iceborne, where they package Sunbreak in with the base game, and sell that the day it releases on Steam.
Except Iceborne wasn't released on PC same time as it was console?
Like I say, if they release it all as one big package, day and date, that is a great thing. But there is so much toxicity in the MH community for setting expectations themselves and then getting mad when it doesn't happen. So I'm setting my expectation it won't happen and so if it does, I can be pleasantly surprised rather than bitter that they didn't do something they never said they would.
@Joeynator3000 Is it me or is the new gen MH fanbase really spoiled, All I see is "Finally that took forever" Dude that was the fastest G ranked was shown off, But nope, all They do is complain about the lack of Monsters and how They need another reason to play.

I do think it's a shame Rise didn't better use the content it did have and while people look at Guiding Lands as a good example of an end game, I think we still have a long way to go. However, that being said, I think Monster Hunter fans are some of the most toxic fans out there. At least the most vocal of them.
@Pizzamorg I don't think it was always this way, There was a time were they were nice, They wouldn't complain much, they would teach ya what you need to know, now its just a bunch of ***** New idiot that think since they payed 60$ they need updates all over the place, But they wont tell you there more then willing to pay a 100+$ for a Melee weapon in a video game.

Honestly, the only reason I dropped off from Rise was because of the tower defense segments that were required to reach the higher HR. If it weren't for those, I'd probably enjoy the game more, since those are just aggravating to deal with.
"It is fate. Many have tried, yet none have ever managed to escape it's flow."
@Snatcher Yeah, but at the same time, compared to other past base games...Rise is REALLY barebones with endgame content.
Which MH had a better end game on release? You can't use rereleases, Ultimate versions, expansions or anything else. Because World certainly didn't. And I can't think of an older game that did, either.
On release wasn't their end game the same? Hit a HR to unlock a new monster and keep crafting the gear you've already unlocked to beat existing monsters slightly faster?
