During an Ubisoft presentation, more of the game is shown.
After a walk around of the the enviroment and talking to the rabbid on boarding a train shaped like a Wiggler. (Geez it's weird having the Rabbids speak english voice lines.) You get to fight a boss shaped like a Wiggler while on board a train. Heh, nice setpiece.
After that gameplay showoff, they announce season passes ahead of release in typical AAA Ubisoft fashion. But the final Season Pass announced near the end of this video isn't something that is of typical AAA Ubisoft fashion.
It's Rayman, Babieeeeeeeeeee!
Edit: Rayman used to be a spoiler but NL announced it.
I may still have a few reservations with Sparks of Hope, but that announcement of Rayman DLC later on has all but convinced me to grab it at some point down the line. One thing though: I'll definitely be grabbing the Gold Edition down the line instead of the regular edition. It may have worse box art, but when the original Gold Edition is sometimes even cheaper than the regular edition, I assume that'll also be the case for Sparks of Hope as well. Besides, who wouldn't want to get Rayman when he comes out as an update rather than having to buy the season pass separately?

Seems the MyNintendo store in Europe has its own exclusive variant steelbook that's blue with a Luma on the back. Looks good.
edit
I just can't believe how great this game looks. I wasn't that hyped at first, even though I loved the original. Guess I wasn't expecting it to be that different. But oh how wrong I was.

There was a reddit post about it a week ago. I collect steelbooks so I monitor the NintendoSteelbooks subreddit for news of various releases.

No, I use to watch a ton of movies but as I got into gaming, I kinda stopped watching TV for the most part. Besides which, Switch collecting is expensive enough as is. I can't afford another habit on top 😀
I just really like Switch steelbooks. I collected 3DS and Wii U steelbooks too, but there weren't that many of them. Less than 10 in total. Fire Emblem Fates, Pokémon Sun/Moon, NSMB2, NSMBU, Batman Arkham City, etc. Recently I acquired the coveted Xenoblade X steelbook exclusive to Europe, but it came damaged in transit. Got a refund but the seller let me keep it. Still looks perfect from the front, so it's good for display still. Only one listed on eBay across both US and UK I could find.

@JaxonH which is your favourite switch steelbook? I only have 6 at the moment, I think my favourite is Ape Out. I really want the Links Awkening and Luigi's Mansion ones.
Here's the ones I have on display and the ones I have coming (either in transit like the Splatoon 3 steelbook or when the game releases).
I'm partial to the Bayonetta 1/2 steelbook, the Monster Hunter Rise sunset variant steelbook, the Triangle Strategy steelbook, the Xenoblade Chronicles DE South Korean variant steelbook and the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 steelbook. But also the Daemon X Machina one is great, the Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak one is great, the Shin Megami Tensei V one is great, and I'm loving the Fire Emblem Engage steelbook. That one looks sick. So does the Splatoon 3 South Korean steelbook.

I have about 50 Switch steelbooks, but I have variants of many. So, the sunset MH Rise, the daytime MH Rise, Pokémon Sword, Pokémon Shield, then a gold combo of Sword and Shield. That kinda stuff. No room to display them all so I started lining the extras up like games on the bottom shelf. Also have more steelbooks on my actual game shelf, like Crysis 2 and Crysis 3, but those are part of deluxe edition slipcover so I leave them in it.
The one to the right of Metroid Dread is Fire Emblem Three Houses. There's a western variant and a Japan variant. Can't remember which one it is. The one above Metroid Dread is Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The one to the right of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is Daemon X Machina.
Many steelbooks are rare depending on region. I had to import a LOT of mine from Europe. Even now, I have Diofield Chronicle and Tactics Ogre preorders in with a French retailer that's offering the steelbooks as a bonus. It's expensive ordering extra import copies, but buying on eBay ends up being $50+ a pop. So why not just import the game with the steelbook for that price. At least you can sell the game by itself on eBay afterward and recoup some of the cost.
I only see 3 listings for the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe steelbook on eBay, and two of them are asking outrageous sums. One is $50 + $5 shipping, which is still expensive but that's kinda the norm for more rare steelbooks.

@JaxonH 50! Is that most of them? Including some pre orders I have 10, F.I.S.T is arriving today. I looked over the subreddit you posted and there are a few i'd like, but quite a few such as Celeste are part of collectors editions which are quite expensive so I'll probably just forget about those!
Thanks for looking, the Mario Kart steelbook for $50 is quite badly scratched! I can't believe someone would list it for $50 in that condition! There is a brand new one listed now for $90, I'll save the search and see what comes up.
I'd like to get this day one, but I was curious, is it worth it to buy any of the dlc for the first game? I never did, and I don't want to have missed out on anything fun or important to the "story"
Games I'm playing right now:
Tears of the Kingdom - Switch
@FroZtedFlake The DLC in the first game was two waves, the first was some okay challenges and extra weapons which was miss-able and the second bit was the Donkey Kong expansion which was new characters and more story which was pretty good and on par with the main game.
