Had to cancel my Amazon pre-order since it stated it would be arriving October 26th for some reason. With that said, I'll walk into a store day 1 and grab it. Surprised there aren't more people talking about the game yet since we're just days away from release.

I think it's just that we're overwhelmed with Nier Automata, No Man's Sky, and we also have Persona 5 Royal and Bayonetta 3 around the corner, splitting attention.

Game is like 72 hrs from release though. I'm hyped!

I’m gonna wait for a sale, it’s a Ubisoft game, no reason to buy it at full price.

@JaxonH I get it's quite busy, I'm just surprised it's gaining much attention( or discussions) from the users. There's usually tons of articles leading up to a release which I'm not seeing from NL, at least to my knowledge. Just hope it does well, because the 1st game was amazing.

I'm not sure if I'm a fan of the invulnerability mode that was added because that's kind of cheating imo

91% from SwitchUp. Says it's his new favorite tactical RPG. His main complaints are that the story isn't terribly memorable, some of the environments are a bit on the dull side, and there are a few performance hitches at times. Loads of gushing about essentially every other aspect of the game.

This reviewer doesn't seem to have found it as overtly easy as the NL reviewer did, interestingly enough, saying the hardest difficulty would "humble" the player. Challenge accepted!

@Ralizah just watched his review. The first one was rather simple until the very end, with only a couple sections being difficult. Bring on Thursday!

@NintendoByNature World 3 and on were pretty challenging. With that said, I welcome them changing this to feel more like a proper RPG adventure.

Walked into BB to pre-order which i haven't done in years. Not sure if this was a pre-order special, but BB gave me a $10 gift with the purchase! Might use it for P5R next month.

jump

@Eagly I dunno, Mario can't jump is a valid point. Captain Toad took the time to explain the why of Toad not being able to jump by having a heavy backpack so you become comfortable with the rules of the game which which leads to acceptance of the wilder elements, whilst the logic leap here isn't explained at all even with a silly game reasoning which results in the player rejecting the premise completely.

I'm gonna boycott this game now and urge everyone to join me!

What do guys make of the complaints about the low difficulty? I played through the first game three times, and enjoyed the challenge it provided. I’m worried that it will be too boring for M+R veterans. I hope they’ll patch in a higher difficulty setting later. 😕

I just tried ordering this from Nintendos own site and There's no physical option. Like what the heck seriously? As for the challenge i‘d be fine with a lower difficulty. The first game got kinda frustrating in some battles where it would literally take a couple hours to clear one battle. Maybe i just suck at strategy games. Besides if you want an extreme challenge that's what bonus stages are for.

Throughout the first World I found a couple moments where you can do extra side fights that were super challenging, also the base game does have difficulty options.
