I can vouch for amiami though I've only bought merch.
I've bought a game once from them. Arrived like a week after launch so shipping was quick. Only downside is that they don't have any way to cancel orders aside from emailing them and asking (unless that's changed since then) so gotta be pretty sure that you're not going to change your mind with a pre-order.
I use Play-Asia (no issues and I have only had to contact customer support once), nippon-yassan (they went under but before covid were great), ebay, Amazon Japan, yes asia, amiami and CD Japan. So far no issues. I’ve imported several systems, games, CDs and statues. I only pay my cc’s foreign transaction fees.

Well I decided which game I'm importing in January. I'm thinking I might import 1 game a month instead of 2 mainly because most of switch games being around $60 a pop. 🤷♀️✌ Besides if I import 1 as opposed to 2 I'll actually have some spending cash for other stuff lol~ Guess which game it is though~ 😉🤣
Bought Neko Tomo for Nintendo switch this morning just have to wait a month on the mail from Japan ~ 🥰💕 Glad to know it's the sequel to Kuma Tomo 3DS. Loved playing Teddy Together on my Australian 2DS~ 🥰💕 I'm going to use Google translate for Neko Tomo nintendo switch pretty sure the game is only in Japanese. I also bought the updated version of Neko Tomo nintendo switch not sure if it will help the game but was reading supposedly the update is supposed to be huge~ 🤷♀️💖
