Omg ya I regretted downloading it instead of going to the store and getting the hard copy. Mine took like 3 hours to download with good internet. The game is great though. It kept me preoccupied all weekend while the wife was out of town, its really fun and I love how many difficulty options they have, so you can start really easy if you're not used to playing it and can make it really hard if you play it a lot.
The difficulty options are great. I was completely new so started on Beginner, but started winning 8-0 so I moved up to amateur. Won 1-0, then lost 2-1 in overtime, then won 3-0. So it seems a good difficulty for me, for now. Once I improve I'll move up to semi (and there's still 3 or 4 more difficulties after that, it's crazy)
Psalms 22:16 (1,000 yrs before Christ)
They pierced My hands and feet
Isaiah 53:5 (700 yrs before Christ)
He was pierced for our transgressions

Fifa has always been great at accommodating players of all skills. I currently play on World class, but normally I play at legendary, but this version of FIFA is harder than previous ones, well for me anyway.
I'm quite enjoying this game at the moment but there's something really bugging me. When playing in docked mode there is a white arrow at the feet of the player indicating where he is facing, but it's not present when undocked. Is this a setting that can be changed somewhere?

Problem I have always found with FIFA is once you go professional and world class the weak teams just start playing the ball around like Barcelona.
I've heard that as bad as the sales are of FIFA 18 on Switch, it's already in fact sold better than any version on previous Nintendo hardware. That's shocking.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE This is really telling of the innovation of the Switch. People that wouldn't normally ever have a desire to buy a handheld(that like FIFA) are buying it because they can play it as a console and also turn it into the best looking handheld ever on the fly, looking at FIFA 18 available now for the Switch thinking, "dag it would be pretty dope to play FIFA on the switch in handheld anywhere I want." .... and probably also because there's not too many games to choose from and and the Switch is selling like crazy.
I want this but there's no less then 5 to 10 other games I want as well. Plus I'm trying to beat some games before I get this otherwise I will never finish them.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE And yet it's still the best its ever done on Nintendo systems. Seems like EA turned in a low number of copies to start so they don't get burned. Wouldn't be surprised if they are so far happy with sales.

@Spoony_Tech as long as it hits EA targets that's all that matters. The Wii U version didn't and switch is beating that. It's all about building a new fan base for FIFA on Nintendo hardware.
@Inertiacreep You do realise that FIFA 18 has sold poorly on the Switch so far, right?
And you do realise it was sold out everywhere as EA wasn’t sure how well it would sell and didn’t want to get burned don’t you... In the UK Amazon still don’t have stock until the 8th of October.
I love the difficulty settings because I'm the type of person that Fifa is more of a change up game for me than a regular, buy and play every year game. I'm not a huge soccer fan and in my area there are no professional teams, just one really good semi-pro team.. So I don't really pay any attention to it until Olympics time, but it's still a fun, strategy filled game. I also prefer playing my career or whatever it's called and only control my guy. I got up to professional difficulty but it's frustrating to watch your teammates play much worse than the other team so typically I end up lowering it to semi-pro and dominating on my own. It''s not hard, but I don't like losing and don't like using the whole team if I'm "pretending" that I'm that one guy haha.
