I'm loving this game. Have played it in handheld and big screen mode. Both play great. I've owned the previous 2 fifa's on Xbox. But if they continue to release this game each year on switch, that is where I will play it.
Bringing it to work tomorrow for some table top action. Can't wait!

The only thing annoying me is there’s no store where you can use points to unlock new balls, get a scout to find a good youth player or give yourself a big money boost. No idea why it’s not in the Switch version, especially as it’s linked to my Origin account, I have so my points as I play Fifa each year, so I’m annoyed I can’t use any😞
There are plenty of balls available under settings, or are you already aware of this?
You're comparing a userbase of 85 million with an established Fifa audience to a new platform with a userbase of approximately 5.5 million with an audience that hasn't had a console Fifa game in 5 years.
I really, really hope it sells well, but to compare figures with the other platforms is ridiculous. The userbase and audience need time to grow.

Yes I’m well aware of that as I’ve played every FIFA since 98😉
But there’s a lot more stuff you can unlock but not in this game, it’s stuff like having the ability to unlock a large amount of cash for career mode when you use a team like Yeovil, but you can’t do that in the Switch version. Everything else that’s missing from the Switch version I’m not fussed about, but having no store to unlock s bunch of extra content is annoying, as that has nothing to do with using an old engine as it’s been a thing for years.
How about it sold less because people didn't know anything about it because of all the secrecy behind the reviews and lack of last minute info. I wanted it but held off on reviews and I'm willing to bet many others did as well.

My gut tells me this has done better than EA was expecting. The retail stock levels were very pessimistic (with Amazon and Game sold out!). Now, I am sure there will be conspiracy theories about EA contractually obliged to make a Switch Fifa game and they kept investment to a minimum. Hmmm...

People always have excuses for the Switch or some of its games not selling. So what if Amazon don't have it stock? There's plenty of other places. I just looked at Smyths and the stores here in Ireland have 15+ in stock. Yes , most of you don't live in Ireland but Smyths are in the UK as well, they've tonnes of copies. Also, it's available on Nintendo's own UK store. I think it's crazy them asking for £55 for a lesser port, missing features, weaker graphics, worse online, etc.
@Scal_Capone It's £7 cheaper than Nintendo's site and only £2 cheaper than Smyths.
Edit: Boomerang and Zavvi have it in stock for £47.50 and £48 respectively. Amazon UK are £48 but won't have it back in stock for another week. If people wanted this game, it's easy to get hold of.
I'm sincerely jealous of those of you that have this game. I want it too, but paying £50 for any single game is against my programming. If it had been a fully fledged port I might have been swayed at £45, but as it is I'm gonna wait for £30, or that's the plan....
