@Reprise
from the video they said there are a problem of frames jump over to 30 to 33 suddenly and very frequently creating some sort of frame-pacing, but the dev already said they will release a patch(easy to fix at the contrary of frame going down)
Dying Light has not really been on my radar, and I'm a bit overspent this year as it is, but it sounds like it's a port that deserves support so I'll get it sooner than I probably should.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
@aresius Interesting. I can't say I've noticed personally, although perhaps that's the stutters I have noticed every now and again. I'm just starting to watch Digital Foundry's video now. It's good that the devs have already said they're working on patches.
@aresius
Thanks. I guess the faq says some third party might release at noon the next day but figured I’d ask. Hopefully it drops tonight, though I still haven’t purchased it. The video posted was very informative and looks good, but I might wait for feedback in this thread.
I do know I enjoyed it and regretted not finishing it.
May I request somebody who purchased the game on physical cartridge, verify if there's additional download for this game or is it all (DLC and other stuff) on the cartridge? I can't seem to verify this info whenever I search for it.
@Spanish_Bread
for what i know everything is on the card(14GB), but the day one patch is over 1 giga(1.4 about)
I see, great to see all the content from the card... I'm just worried not to get the other stuff (DLC) if I bought a different region of the game for my account... thanks!
@Spanish_Bread Just got my copy and everything is on the cartridge without any updates. The patch is probably some fixes or some textures, languages and stuff.
I put the cartridge in my Switch in airplane mode, completed the Prologue (you need to do this to unlock the Countryside (The Following)) and started the Countryside to see if everything is there. I ran like crazy in there and the zombies were too strong so now I am back in the normal game to level up and explore
It is all there And you get a nice paper map + some stickers and a little handwritten notebook with tips for survival.
Just picked this up at the store. Thought Walmart would have it on sale as they usually do but it was regular price. No biggie though, I'm excited to try tonight.
