@ricklongo If they can fit 30 names on screen, and every name shows up for about 5 seconds, it'll take a little less than 3 hours for all the names to show up.
@Octane That's not a sensible amount of time for each name, though. You can't read 30 names in five seconds. Something like 0.5-1 second for each name would be closer to ideal if that's what they're going for.
Of course, that will never happen, and we'll probably get like 50-name batches on screen for a grand two seconds. It's way too impractical otherwise.
You know, I love Banjo-Kazooie to death, but nothing about this game is appealing to me. I don't know. It's almost like... the whole Kickstarter thing really turns me off (and I know it shouldn't... games like Original Sin are AWESOME...but really, at the same time, there are a FEW stellar examples out of HUNDREDS of kickstarter games, so the jury's still out), and the same sidekick-type thing almost seems like they're forcing a star-shaped block into the circle-shaped hole. Yea, I understand that it's the Banjo-Kazooie people so "duh" it's gonna be a 3D platformer, and I know it's raising boatloads of money, but I just have this "meh" feeling about it. Just a feeling, and I always advocate playing before reviewing, so we'll just have to wait and see.

I can't read all the names in credits normally, so I don't know why that would suddenly change for this game.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
Is that Digital Deluxe thing for any system? Or PC only? Wanna make sure I get this on the Wii U, I also want the soundtrack, lol
I believe they actually answered that in their last update (and probably in the FAQ's) and the answer is yes, it's for your preferred system. But you should check around, first. I could be wrong.
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)
About the credits: people in the comment section of the Kickstarter were calculating how much time such a credit section would last, most people agreeing it'll take much more than an hour. That's pretty crazy. As long as it's skippable, fine by me.
I sure hope it isn't skippable and your save file won't show 100% until you watch it all.

Just checked it and it is. they'll send out a survey for you to request what console you want it on.
Surprising hard to find that information, Its in a table they put near the bottom
For the record, that is a glorified flash drive. I was originally confused about that, but they do specify in the FAQs that it's just a flash drive modeled to look like an N64 cart.
So I don't know who listened to that whole developer interview with Playtonic. It's actually really funny, but they did say a number of interesting things, including the fact that the kickstarter ending on the first day of E3 was not an accident.

If the kickstarter ends at E3 because they have a publisher lined up who's attending I'd be so annoyed.

There's far too much about that that makes no sense for that to even happen. For one, if they had a publisher, why would it be a Kickstarter? The main function of a Kickstarter is to get the money that a publisher would normally be supplying. Second, that would require them to sacrifice parts of their vision, since another thing a publisher does is ensure that the final product is the most marketable thing they could've come up with. (At least, that's the point.) They don't have a publisher. That would kinda defeat the purpose of the whole project.
