The last stretch goal has been reached, so there will be a LP from the devs!, time for some more goals, I think they should add online for the multiplayer for a stretch goal but that's my opinion.
When was the last first-party (if not, major) 3D platformer featuring original characters to have come out? I think it's either 2005's Psychonauts or 2008's LittleBigPlanet.
I can see this reaching over 5 million and that low balling it.
No, that's grossly overestimating it by several million.
I don't think so in the slightest. Looking at the project and the people behind it this is lightening in a bottle. Didn't mighty number nine get close to 2 million?
Extreme low balling, as it turned out. Mighty No. 9 hit about $700k in two days, averaged $120k per day, and then finished at $3.8mil after one month. If Yooka-Laylee follows the same trend, it will average $340k per day and be at about $10.8mil after a month. The campaign is 45 days long.

Is it any good/great?

I don't have a PS4. Reviewers didn't seem to be thrilled by it though.
This game's going to be epic! Grant, David, and all the cast of the old "RARE" are back. I'm optimistic that that this will be the "Wii U" system seller (for nostalgic reasons).

It's coming to PC and all consoles...
So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.
Wow, several backers are saying that they'll be pulling their pledges if the final stretch goal is met because they don't want an orchestral score.
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)

Extreme low balling? I must have missed the part where it passed $5 million last night!
$50 Paypal bet, you in? If it earns less than $5 million US I win, and you have to change your screen name to 'Nirvana Jr.' and can change it back after 60 days or whatever the limit is.
If it makes $10 million US, I will send you $50.
Any number between $5,000,000 and $9,999,999 million and it's a wash. I'm a man of my word and will pay up if I am wrong. We are both in Canada so I will send you $50CDN on Paypal.
Do we have a deal? If you are confident that it will make more than $10 million, should be easy money then right?

If you're betting @Spoony_Tech That hardly seems fair given what you've both said, he said over $5 million, you said several million below (I take that as at least 2). I think the threshold should be over $5 million you pay out, under $3 million he pays out, between it's a wash going by the claims.
Bet is for Caviar who claimed the game could possibly earn $10 million. Actually, I will lower his end of the deal to $8 million if he accepts the bet. It makes $8+million he gets $50CDN, if the game earns less than $5 million, he changes his screen name.
I won $20 last night in a bet with my friend over the Pacquiao/Mayweather 'fight' and I'm still in a gambling mood haha
