@FishyS I used to play the original Cyberpunk tabletop RPG this game is based on back in the '90s, so 2077 having plenty of sex, drugs, violence, etc. came as no surprise to me. 😅 But it's understandable that not everyone is familiar with a particular game/franchise and its reputation before buying it.
@RenanKJ The focus of the reviews is definitely 'does it play well on Switch 2' , but the Nintendo Life review does mention the naughty bits also.
From the Nintendo Life review:
"Cyberpunk 2077 as a whole, is very much an adult experience. Part of that is the sexual imagery plastered everywhere, the violence, the truly vile language,"
@Polvasti I never knew it was a tabletop RPG, crazy.
@Polvasti I had GTA as my 18+ parameter. Cyberpunk is definitely more explicit than GTA, hehe. Good to know there are at least some filter settings.
@FishyS I knew it was an adult experience, but not exactly how adult we were talking about, haha. Definitely recalibrated my definition of mature title now.
@RenanKJ
Don't let them needle you, I'm in the same boat. I knew it was gonna be mature with cursing and some provocative sexual stuff, but I didn't expect full-on nudity, even in the character creator. I guess I'm behind the times and really haven't played these mature games in a bit lol
But holy moly, this game is pretty awesome. I'm really digging the story. I'm probably just gonna stick to the main story missions because open worlds tend to overwhelm me, but I'm glad I bought this one.
And the graphics and stuff are straight insane. Being Nintendo-only (except WoW on my PC) since the Wii U basically, this is quite the upgrade in fidelity.
Just picked up Yakuza 0 director's cut, which I'm pretty excited about. Never played the series before, but it looks pretty fun. Hoping to start tomorrow.
I bagged my self a physical copy of Mario kart world used from eBay in great condition (I know it only came out about a month ago) for 40 pounds.
Waaaahooooo
We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.
I purchased Braverly Default for Switch 2 today from Amazon for £20.80 , I don't like this whole key card rubbish but at this price I'll give it a punt .... Full RRP £70 Key Cards are a no go for me though., Got Donkey Kong pre ordered and paid for, also got the Switch 1 version of Shadow Labyrinth preordered and paid for with the Switch 2 upgrade claimed and downloaded.
I want to buy DK on Thursday, I’ll go with physical copy. I’m also going to need to buy a microsd express at some point. The only thing on my Switch 2 so far is Mario Kart World, so I’m ok for space for a while..
Not yet strictly a Switch 2 game but having heard Dave the Diver is getting a free Switch 2 upgrade at some point and seeing a physical copy of the game on offer for £20 I've bit the bullet and ordered it.
I did contemplate Street Fighter 6 as there's a UK site selling it for £33.50 but figured I've already got my hands full.
Just bought Bananza and the pro controller for the Switch 2. The online site said the controller costs 130€, but I got lucky and got the last one in the store for the normal price. Seems like the controller is pretty much sold out here. Also I think I helped convince a worker to get a Switch 2.
I will try to unlock the last character in Mario Kart World, then I will finally start Bananza.

I'm a Dream Fighter. Perfume is Love, Perfume is Life.
Brought Red Dead Redemption as had £10 on my account which I needed to use up, game was on sale so only spent £13 felt that was a good price for a game I’ve never played before
Also purchased Donkey Kong via Amazon Japan (hence needing to spend the money on my account fore I could change my region)
