Not hopping on Mouse for PI until it gets a Gyro aiming update/patch. Same thing applies to Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bugwar! No gyro, no buyo. And they have to dial in enough senstivity so gyro feels super reponsive and 1:1 unlike how it does in Duke Nukem 3D, Killing Time Resurrected & DOOM 64.
I think maybe the upcoming Steam machine & Steam Controllers 'Behaviour Gyro' settings will allow you customize Gyro beyond what's in the actual games settings to your liking and get them every bit as responsive in titles like Power Slave, StarWars: The Dark Forces, DOOM 1+2 & Quake, just to name a few for NS1/NS2. Here's hoping! if that's the case, than the former 3 boomer shooters will be fully redeemed officially on Steam.
NS2's 250hz polling Rate(Which is a little smoother and more 1:1 with Gyro aiming, including PS5's DualSense compared to NS1's 125hz PR + 6-Axis Gyro) but with the inclusion of 9-Axis Gyro(A lot less drifting and more reliability) is the current next best thing vs the Wii remote plus. Or for some, just having 250hz PR 9-Axis built inside a Pro 2/traditional controller may be more up their alley rather than opting for a detached play-style.
@gcunit Economy, safety and health and priorities are a lot different this year. I stocked up on games (along with my pantry) over the past year to limit my going outside, but I have to focus on other things now. BF is honestly a wishful hope. I’m likely done for the year. Unless I can actually land a second job that I have been trying to get for over a year.
