Your latest Switch 2 purchases....

I ordered the Tomtoc slim switch 2 case (black) and amFilm tempered glass with alignment tool.

There's no way I'm buying that ninetndo branded switch 2 case+ film screen protector. If this is like switch launch, the first nintendo branded case was cheap, flimsy, wasn't good protection for travel. And I, like many people, soon replaced it with something better, like the tomtoc slim hard case. Nintendo or Hori will likely put out a hard case for switch 2 soon, if that's what you'll want.

...still waiting & watching for 512gb or 1tb express microSD.

I guess my most recent purchase is also the amFilm screen protector. Though I'm honestly wondering if I really need a screen protector this time around - I'm an adult, darn it! lol

I only got one for my original Switch because of all the reports of people scratching theirs when putting it in the dock (those were simpler times. But when it's on, it's kind of annoying because it just collects a bunch of dust around the edges no matter how precisely you fit it.

Kind of hilarious to make this thread already... I assume most people's latest Switch 2 purchase is the Switch 2 itself.

Given how many times I've shattered my phone's screen protector, I will definitely get a Switch 2 protector though probably not until after I actually obtain a Switch 2.

@rallydefault My amFilm tempered glass on my switch has much better hydrophobic properties that resists fingerprints and makes wiping off fingerprints & cleaning the screen so easy. The oem switch screen seemed to really attract & show fingerprints, and didn't clean as easily. Plus, I have younger nieces that visit here and there. So, I like tempered glass cleaning and peace of mind, too.

I kept thinking, I don't need to buy a screen protector or case yet. But then Tomtoc switch 2 cases went live this week. And I may travel with my switch 2 soon after launch. A family member already want's me to bring over Mario Kart World. So, I could use that case.

Today I bought 3 Switch games, but since they are backwards compatible I’ll still share:

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown (physical £19.49)
Persona 5 Royal (physical £26.79)
Another Code: Recollection (physical £28.39)

I had to buy a bundle preorder. So I'm getting Switch 2 Mario Kart bundle, spare joy cons, camera, and those useless steering wheel things.

I separately ordered a 512gb microsd express card.

Just the console, a physical copy of MK World and the Pro Controller so far, all pre-ordered from Argos, here in the UK. Will likely pick up a Micro SD Express card closer to launch, by which time I've hopefully decided just how digital I intend to be this generation.

I got Mario Kart World and Cyberpunk pre-ordered, still waiting for an email from nintendo for the console.

If that fails, my backup is hope that there’s some units available at retail somewhere, I hear that target might have some on launch day so hopefully other stores do too.

GameCube controller. Needed to be ready to play F-Zero GX over NSO. This game was my life back in the day.

After all this talk of download heavy games I cancelled my 512gb card and ordered a 1tb card.

My current pre-orders are:

• Nintendo Switch 2 - Mario Kart World Bundle
• Switch 2 Pro Controller
• Nintendo Switch 2 All-in-one case (I brought my Switch 1 to friends lots of times, so this will probably be worth it)
• Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit glass protector (was already delivered)

And a few minutes ago I ordered the tomtoc Switch 2 slim case, I never had one of this brand, but I only heard good things about it. It looks very slim and sturdy!

This will be probably all I'm gonna order for launch, the rest can wait. I'm hyped!

I mean right now it's only the Mario Kart Bundle, the Pro Controller and Yakuza 0

Purchased a switch 2 pre order today, I missed out on the switch… so I’ve got Zelda BotW to play for the first time ( will get ToTk later date) and also given the backwards compatibility picked up Skyrim as I’ve not played it for around a decade and love to idea of it being portable.

Picked up a SW2 for myself (MarioKart Bundle) and my son (base system) on the pre-order day.

Today, I pre-ordered my first SW2 game, Hogwarts Legacy, for a $10 upgrade. Very happy WB decided to go the upgrade route for this game.

None since I can't preorder. Time to see when Nintendo sends a code to someone who signed up within an hour with 8+ years of NSO+ Membership with sharing thousands of hours of data

Any day now...

Got the GameCube controller pre-ordered finally through Nintendo store.

@Sine I assume only the people who signed up within 47 seconds are getting them.
