@Overzeal An announcement of a reveal isn’t a shadow drop but announcing the reveal a day beforehand is typical for Nintendo. It’s just a matter of whether they would do it at normal time they would for a Direct or later in the day.

I think Nintendo will do a late night/early day (depending on time zone) announcement. It's technically possible we'd get something in about 15 minutes, but I am thinking it's more likely we'll have to wait until later.
@PikminMarioKirby If no announcement on a Switch 2 reveal comes in by tonight, then it’s not happening tomorrow. In fact, there might not be any news until at least mid February.
To be honest, I'm thinking Nintendo's main Japanese Twitter account will be the place to look, and might be later in the day rather than their typical 3PM UTC / 10AM ET / 12AM JST scheduled time.
@Grumblevolcano@RupeeClock I think that the DK tweet doesn’t mean much, since the announcement of reveal is likely to take place a little after midnight in UK. In EST it will likely still be the 15th, but it is likely that other time zones will be on the 16th. (like it was for Switch)
@SViper
I was asking for his opinion, yes. I did read your post. I just have a hard time thinking they’ve been mass producing for so long already, but I like to learn!
Yea, I’m of the mind if we don’t hear anything today, it’s not happening this week.
@PikminMarioKirby I think NoA is the one to look out for. Looking at NoA's time zone (pacific), back in 2016 they went quiet for the whole of October 19th until they announced that the reveal was happening on October 20th.
And in the case that it’s not being revealed tomorrow but at a later day (even if that day is March 31), probably a good idea so they can finish working on launch games and then be able show everything off (the Switch 2 hardware as well as its launch games) in the same event instead of doing separate ones.
