Nintendo should NOT disappoint me if this Pokemon Gen 10 will represent my country Indonesia 🇮🇩
The game MUST be on game card, just like Pokemon Legends Z-A.
If I see Batik, Balinese inspired design, Javanese looking landscape from the next trailer, I will get hyped to see my country became a representation in video games.
I know a lot of Japanese people like to visit Indonesia especially on Bali.
They might be bring the inspiration from Indonesia for their design.
I'm a bit concerned about how they cut to black before showing the underwater section. That might indicate that it is separate. It could just have been for dramatic effect, but I don't know. Perhaps they need to separate it to keep a stable frame rate.
That would be concerning. Other IPs have done dynamic diving for as long as Pokemon's been a thing, literally you could do that in Mario 64 in 1996, it's not unreasonable to expect Pokemon to catch up on this.
Given Wind and Waves are not coming out until next year, does this raise the likelihood of us getting more classic Pokemon ports or even Black and White remake?
People who are better at analyzing frame rate than I am, can you tell me what this trailer looks to be running at. I'm sort of second guessing myself on that.

Besides giving it more time in the oven this news has made it much more likely that I will buy Pokopia. Well played Nintendo... Two $70 Pokemon games in one year was two much for me. I wonder if Pokopia will sell better because of this conveniently timed schedule announcement.
I wonder how travelling the seas will work. We could have a ride Pokemon, but the choppiness of the waves makes me think that could look awkward, so I sort of wonder if we'll just get a speedboat.
Going back to Pokemon capturing, I did notice on rewatch that the trainer capturing the Pikachu did not seem to have a Pokemon on the field. So considering that and the fact that it zoomed in heavily on the ball, I'm really torn on if this indicates overworld catching or not.

@UpsideDownRowlet The little round thing kind of looks like a moon or planet or something, maybe rotating. That's why I guessed it had something to do with tides. Maybe everything changes at low tide versus high tide.
I wonder what this board object is that the protagonists have. My first impression was that it could be a sort of hoverboard, but then I noticed the presence of a hinge at the back and a steering wheel flattened into the base, so now I think it could be some sort of collapsible bike or diving apparatus.

@UpsideDownRowlet The Teraleaks mention something about this actually.
According to leaks It's a new ride mechanic called a Rotom Scooter. It connects to a Pokemon with an energy leash and follows behind them as they run, fly, or swim through overworld areas.
EDIT: Also this may be the reason why they cut to black before they showed the underwater clips, they don't want to officially reveal this yet.
